Juha P (gb) wrote: A quite funny mocumentary, with all the stereotypical characters (read: losers) it takes to make an independent microbudget art film. A really funny flick for film freaks on a rainy night with nothing on telly, but just about that. As typical for a British (even cheap) movie, the film looks good and acting is professional.

Sure, he could have done with opening up the frame a little here and there but there are enough visual flourishes (not to mention razor-sharp editing) to give this directorial d (C)but a cinematic feel. Several scenes had me entirely enraptured and the acting was top-notch; if you like small scoped indie dramas about social misfits Jack Goes Boating has a lot to offer.

The acting is sooooooooo bad im tempted to call it the worste acting i have ever seen. honestly the dialoue is atrocious. for some reason this movie was on the halloween display at walmart surrounded by good films(which i will not mention at risk of someone mistakingly underminding my warnings to not watch this), needless to say it was misplaced. I turned it off halfway through....its terrible, TERRIBLE!!!

Jonathan H (es) wrote: Um... Its not on the "list" but it had Donnie in it so I had to see it. Its not great but it definitely could have been worse. Its like a terrible mix of "The Departed" and "American Gangster" Donnie just wanted to have a film like his younger brother. Some of the film quality reminds me of the dramatizations from "Its a Miracle!"

Jon A (fr) wrote: A great two-hander, directed by Dusan Kovacevic from his play. Teja, a former dissident under the Milosevic regime, now a prosperous businessman, receives a visit from Luka, the retired secret policeman whose job it was to shadow him for ten years, and who knows more about Teja's life than Teja himself does. The shaggy dog story unfolds in flashbacks as we discover more and more about the characters of our two protagonists, and what they illustrate about the society around them. A brilliant soundtrack, and an especially great performance from Bora Todorovic.

In this sequel to the 1980 original, Richard and Emmeline, the two teens from the first film, and their infant son, set out to sea in a boat. The parents die, but the infant is rescued by a passing ship. Before long, plague breaks out on the ship, and a young woman and her infant daughter take the baby boy and wind up on the very same island where the boy was born. The days become years as three stranded castaways, make a life for themselves. When the woman dies, the two now grown children (Milla Jovovich and Brian Krause) must learn to cope. Their life together is blissful, but not without physical and emotional challenges.

Oliver N (gb) wrote: After 20 Bond movies (plus the original Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again) we find ourselves faced with the prospect of the first 'blonde' Bond... It's seems crazy to think we all doubted Daniel Craig's capability as our beloved 007. Casino Royale - the 21st Bond movie after the flop which was Die Another Day - has exhilarating action, crossed with tender emotions, exceptional performances all round and one of the strongest villains since the birth of Bond. Speaking about the originals, Casino Royale is without a doubt the best Bond yet... And arguably one of the greats of our generation. Verdict: A+
