Brian H (jp) wrote: As RTV's go, pretty good. I needed 1.5 hours filled before a "So You Think You Can Dance" results show and this filled in nicely. At least I didn't have to really watch closely, like I...do...when...the Dance...one's...on...shaddup.

Silke B (gb) wrote: Torkild (Soren Pilmark) turns 40 and decides to change his life. He wants to quit his life as a crook. Good, that he just robbed a heap of money for his boss, so he has a wonderful basis to finance his future on a tropical island. With his friends Peter (Ulrich Thomsen), Arne (Mads Mikkelsen) and Stefan (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) he wants to leave Denmark, but their car breaks down. Peter has a bullet wound and so they decide to seek shelter in a deserted inn. The local doctor advices them to stay for at least two weeks, until the wound will be healed well enough to continue their journey.Everyone hates to be stuck in that old, broken house, surrounded by strange locals, getting on each others nerves. Everyone, but Torkild. Torkild feels bizarrely calm and peaceful where he is. And he tells every local that they have bought the inn and want to open a restaurant soon...and after a little while this plan becomes more than just an idea. They realize, that paradise might be on earth and that it might just look a bit different than they expected it to look. Everything works well...until Peter runs out of coke and phones his dealer. And his dealer is unfortunaley Torkilds ex-boss...Each of the four friends has his own package to carry and through surreal flashbacks we get an idea what made them become what they are now.Oh, and don't worry, there will be a bloodbath! And please don't fear that they all will work in a neat restaurant and turn out to be good cooks- of course they won't.Hanne: What happened?Peter: [cleaning up blood from the floor after Arne killed a robber] Yes, it's a mess, isn't it?Stefan: Whose blood is it?Peter: Oh, just some customers'. Hanne: You're doing it all wrong, Torkild! HAHA!Stefan: Hanne, please...Hanne: No, don't, Stefan! He's doing it all wrong! HAHA!Stefan: Hanne, leave him alone...Hanne: No, just a second, Stefan. I've never seen anyone so lousy at blowing eggs! HAHAHA!Torkild: [punches her in the face] NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP, BITCH!

Frances H (fr) wrote: Sweet rom com , with Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock when they were young and cute. One of the things I like about this flick, is that (spoiler alert) the two stars don't end up together, as they would have in any other movie of this type, instead of the love of the soon-to-be-marrieds coming through the test.
