The film is directed by his son Adam, and doesn't shy away from their difficult relationship, fuelled in part by Nimoy Sr's alcoholism and Nimoy Jr's drug dependency. Essential viewing if you're a Trekkie of course, but also interesting if you're not.

They are truly as unique and fascinating as their homeland, Iceland, which, really, most people don't know a lot about. Their Heima film basically takes a documentary-music style as they travel around Iceland to give free music concerts in bergs, towns, grassy knolls, etc to give back to the public that has given them notoreity. What is different about this film, too, is that it is almost a spiritual experience to watch it, or, at least it is just very different and unique from many American bands that want to make it big or have made it big. Sigur Ros bandmembers talk about space (personal space, soul space) and the attempt to communicate without words. I have never seen a concert film like this before. Of course, it's not for everybody. If you haven't listened to Sigur Ros or know nothing about the music group, it may not be as accessible musically for the uninitiated or the sonically unadventurous. And, since this is a concert film and not a movie, you have to take that into consideration.
Maxim C (ca) wrote: dunno what to say exactly... kinda weird, but not in a positive way... seems to be 2 movies in one, mixing so much stuff together! I think the director should stay at directing music video because those were awesome! But the rest of the movie... not so sure! But, it was a really nice attempt. So after watching it I'm still skeptical doh! And it's way to long! And the teddy is creepy!

Matt M (de) wrote: Lucky You chronicles the everyday life of a professional gambler. Too structured and flawed by its many clichs, Hanson's film shamefully wastes its concept potential by becoming very disappointingly unoriginal. In the end, perhaps the film's biggest stake to claim is the clear way in which it is able to reveal the technicalities, tactics and drama of the game of poker, the lead character's favoured game.
