Sowmya A (ru) wrote: It's very chaotic but has an interesting premise. I bumped onto this movie while searching for some thrill similar to what I got while watching the classic, Thelma and Louise. It's no way near to that but good fun nevertheless!

Ryan V (mx) wrote: Writer/director Spike Lee orchestrates this story about a pompous television writer (Damon Wayans) who is sick of writing stereotypically "black" shows for his network. He decides to create a blatantly racist program in the hopes of getting fired, but this plan goes haywire when his modern minstrel show becomes a massive hit. People have lambasted this film for being a preachy fable that steals too much from Network and The Producers. I can't really say that they're wrong, but I still found Bamboozled to be a gripping and well-acted parable about racism in modern media. It's an imperfect film with many ham-fisted moments, but its message will provoke thought in the viewer whether they like the movie or not.

No need for a spoiler warning but on second viewing (many years later) I was shocked to discover that Machine was 'True Blood's' Sheriff Andy Bellefleur.

Ryan C (au) wrote: It was alright, but nothing out of the ordinary romance films that come out. It is very easy to tell what is going to take place next so there are no surprises that await around the corner. The development isn't too great in either of the characters, especially in Wright's character who starts well, but just becomes a girl chasing a fantasy. Costner didn't really have too much to do and played almost the same scene over and over and didn't contribute very much to any scene. It needs more depth, and a little unpredictability like the ending to really bring it full circle. Without the death of Costner at the end, it may not even have been made into a movie.

Alex A (es) wrote: Wayne's World, the SNL skit stretched into a popular motion picture, was a subjectively underwhelming affair. It has a handful of clever moments spread around it like satirical product placement and a T-1000 cameo, but "comedy" wise the humor almost never landed, only garnering a smirk most of the time and coming off as goofy instead of funny. The charm and exuberance of the two lead actors and quirky characters made Wayne's World an at least tolerable affair, but not one I intend to revisit.
Zach M (ca) wrote: Not the worst movie in the world and it definitely falls into the 'so bad it's fun to watch' category. You are always guessing whether the killer will be played by a different actor or not. It's a girl then a guy, a tall person and shorter person. Quite funny.Lots of unattractive nudity and a lot of deaths from nails.
