Jordon J (au) wrote: Boiled down, this is simply another Air Buddies movie, featuring cute puppies and various talking animals... it's cute enough for the kids. Nothing great but worth a watch, I say RENT IT!!!

JBoy I (kr) wrote: this movie is super funny! I can watch it all day!

David J (mx) wrote: The attempt at a romance is laughable at times, but the sniping/war scenes are largely on point.

Syed R (ca) wrote: May be the oddest film Martin Scorsese has done (that i've seen) and it somehow works because of Nicolas Cage. There's few great moments, especially with the reoccurring characters like John Goodman and Ving Rhames.

stefano l (ru) wrote: A lot of action, both in the air and on earth, but of bad quality. Not even the enjoyment of discovering the criminals.

Ian B (ru) wrote: Amazing vibes put out in this film. Brings the viewer back to the golden days of Ma'N'Pa video stores renting out the most violent shit ever. This film a small town is making snuff films and the newest proprietor of the video store is next. It is more disturbing than you would think! A lot of ruthless killing and sexual violence. AKA BLOOD on BOOBS. I could see the morality squad calling this in for being a rape trigger...Anyway, other than that, this movie is shot on video but looks amazing considering how cheap it is. No lesser quality than a television broadcast. The video quality is only appropriate considering it is about a video store and a video snuff ring.

Phillip G (br) wrote: This one really is from the movement: i saw, you didn't.well, i don't want to write a long review, but before watching this you must know that this is different than any other movie you ever watched. The movie will end and you will ask yourself: "what the hell i just saw?"then you will start thinking and you'll remember that the movie is about Bach, this is the beginning, but why that camera that never moves? That cruel cuts between scenes? That plans without faces almost all the time?Well, when you talk about Chronicle of Anna Magdalena Bach you must remember that the cinema has resources to bring the watcher to the screen, to make him closer to the character and that's what CoAMB has of different: the distance.you know Bach's face, you know his wife's face, she's the narrator of the story, fully of names that you, probably, won't give a face. The camera does not move (just in a few moments), and when it does isn't to get closer to Bach, as example, but to film the singer. All the resources that the cinema offers to bring the watcher are denied by Straub and Huillet to give emphasis to the music. There's no intimacy, no feelings in the edition, neither in the characters.See the poster here?"A Masterpiece. This Film is Music"it could not explain better by another way.

Jens S (ru) wrote: The comic adaption scores with perfect casting for the minor characters and a very unsettling atmosphere. Of course there is a little much CGI at times, but the result is still very entertaining. If only this film had even more Tilda Swinton scenes.

Eric B (de) wrote: The biggest problem with this one is the attempt at humor. It just doesn't play here. Overall, it's not as bad as I remember it.
