Jason H (es) wrote: This was surprisingly a really good film. It was a perfect homage and recreation of the original TV cartoons' feel. The only thing that is bad about this film is the monkey and the young kid, but other then that its a really fun film to watch and visually it is spectacular.

Bill T (gb) wrote: I have seen pretty well all of the Charlie Chan movies, and I gotta say, this is the worst of of the lot. Every single actor in this movie embarasses themselves greatly in this. Biggest culprits are the ladies though. Michelle Pfeiffer hasn't a clue how to do comedy and Lee Grant is just mugging, mugging, mugging. Ustinov as Chan couldve been great, but the script really just defeats him.

A bit of a sequel to Most Dangerous Game, but fails like most 70s horror - should I keep digging further in this era or just plain give up? A good 1970s horror film is hard to come by for me - maybe its the film stock that was typically used that bothers me so, but damn this era for churning out so much crap.

Shirley A (fr) wrote: Apparently, Marlon Brando made this movie for free, because of some dispute with the studio. It's not his best work. However, I saw it for the first time when I was about 12 and it made an incredible impression on me. The beauty of Jean Simmons and the overwhelming romance really affected me. I've seen it a couple of times again as an adult and it's still a real heartjerker.

Mark D (it) wrote: This is a cute movie especially if you like Fox and Douglas, but overall the plot and story is very weak. It is the acting of Fox and Douglas that saves it from a 10.
