(nl) wrote: This movie is total govt propaganda. Everything that the character Peter tells Agnes is the actual truth, yet it's wrapped around a supposed "delusional schizophrenic" to make it seem like whoever says these things is just plain crazy. Take from it what you will, but that's what I saw.

Because we dislike and don't care about any of the main characters, ninety minutes in their company feels like a life sentence. Lindsay Anderson and David Sherwin did this with far greater wit and black humour in 'If....'
