In his Scottish New Town home, gangling Gregory and his schoolfriends are starting to find out about girls. He fancies Dorothy, not least because she has got into the football team - and is a better player than him. He finally asks her out, but it is obviously the females in control of matters here, and that very much includes Gregory's younger sister.

(au) wrote: It's a hilarious, all-star, human film. Harvey Keitel is excellent in the leading role, while the supporting cast is also notable (particularly Madonna, in her most memorable role). Nostalgic, sweet, funny, "Blue In The Face" is simply great.

(gb) wrote: I saw this one after hearing film reviewer Mark Kermode give it thumbs up on more than one occasion, and I have to say that he was right. Yes, it's a B-movie, but it's done well, with a zany plot and tongue-in-cheek humor. With a title like that, I expected the lowest of the low, but what I got was an above average script with enough comedy in it to keep me chuckling throughout, with a few belly laughs. Shannon Tweed was what really made this one work as well as it did, keeping that deadpan delivery amidst the ridiculousness. Rent it, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Sidenote: after watching this, California residents may be tempted to conduct a search for the Avocado Jungle of Death.

(br) wrote: This movie is an incredibly intricate puzzle, but strangely enough a very coherent puzzle without having the pieces yet put together. This is the second movie in Inarritu's disjoint, yet connected lives, trilogy, and this is by far his very best. This might be Inarritu's best movie, the artistic force/vision, intricate screenwriting, hartfelt performances by Watson, Penn, and Del Toro, brilliant editing and ambition that went into this project is absolutely fantastic.21 Grams is an incredibly, indescribably original modern-masterpiece created by up and coming master-director Alejandro G. Inarritu.

Looked like it was goofy fun while filming this film.Grab some buds and check out this stupidly entertaining film because its awesome. Will watch again.
