joe i (kr) wrote: Let me start off by saying I am a fan of this series. While they were never scary, they had a sense of fun that made even the worse of them enjoyable. This reboot, now in control of WWF entertainment, lacks all of that. Not just talking about technical issues, such as the lighting that makes this movie way too dark. The acting could of been fine if the actors were any chance to have fun. The worst exploit though is that they have, I guess not being a wrestling fan, a prominent wrestler in the role of the Leprechaun and all they have him do is grunt. Warwick Davis was the most fun as the sass talking villain in the first 6 movies and now the villain is just a barely seeable, grunting, no personality creature. It is time to end it if you are not gonna have fun with your crazy concept

Michelle C (ru) wrote: Watched it again March 2012. My favorite Shakespeare play, about putting on my favorite Shakespeare play, as a musical! Added a half star this time. Love it!Talk about a guilty pleasure movie! A retelling of Midsummer Night's Dream with music and great opening and closing credits. It's another one of those movies where I'll always stop and watch it.

Cooper H (br) wrote: Superman III is largely boring as the majority of the film finds Reeves as just Clark or a depressed Superman. Kidder is pushed to the side, and O'Toole is a decent replacement but lacks a great story - as do the villains.

Aj V (us) wrote: Another funny movie with Hope. It does get a little too silly at times, and the story is predictable, but if you're a fan of his, like I am, you'll enjoy this movie.

Stacy G (it) wrote: The film is alright, the editing is what hurts it the most. The US version also has a narrator which is unnecessary. The title monster does not show up in the film until about half way through. Until then, the movie has a more Them! feel to it. Giant bugs attack a mining town. When the bugs are battled it awakens Rodan(s). Japans first color monster movie. The effects are good considering. The miniature work is what really stands out. None of the human characters are engaging so only come for the monster action.

Stuart P (mx) wrote: It captures Cave as the enigmatic, curious, rock god that he is, and the ending montage against Jubilee Street in the Sydney Opera House is a triumph.
