Tabetha R (de) wrote: I love this movie so much! Still really great for kids, unique idea, good story and morals and beautiful songs! These critics are up their own butts too much.
Michelle A (jp) wrote: Even though the story was simply being retold, I guess the essence of it is to see how the characters truly felt at that time through them writing their letters and then letting it change your perspective while rewatching the same story from the anime series. All in all, for me, the movie just gave me another perspective to think about the original story with, and made the story that much more meaningful and enjoyable.
Keith M (it) wrote: not as good as the first film by a fair bit. the animation was good for the storys being retold but the main animation was not at all good.
Marina R (ca) wrote: This movie falls into the so bad it's good category. Especially if you're playing the drinking game!
Ben C (ca) wrote: Three groups of people trapped by a zombie outbreak, trapped in cliched characters, prattle on agonizingly about their personal issues pointlessly for hours. The dialogue is UNBEARABLE; un-fucking-bearable. It's as bad as Saved By The Bell, minus the laugh track and with the odd zombie/horror scene. Not only terrible, the steaming heaps of fetid script they spew has no purpose or bearing in moving the story along. Not even funny-bad. This is the ultimate example of how not to make a movie.
Hannah D (ca) wrote: I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did, but I thought it was really watchable. My favourite character was actually Julie, who had such a lovely sweet nature about her. James Corden often irritates me, but in this I found him believable as Paul Potts, even though I knew his singing had been dubbed. If I have one complaint, I'd like to have seen them make more of his appearance on Britain's Got Talent, as that's the reason why this film about him has been made.
Ibraheem M (ag) wrote: Solid performance and an amazing journey showing the power of love, My Name Is Khan succeeds in delivering a warm romantic message similar to Forrest Gump.
Nolan M (ag) wrote: One of the best movies of 2005. Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix are awesome!
Dylan G (ag) wrote: Despite it having 1 awesome kill, it's the writing, story, and special effects that make this awful film the worst in the franchise! D-
Stuart R (br) wrote: What did I just watch? Interesting concept but losing it halfway through, some pretty good performances but still a boring film.
Michelle F (us) wrote: This was an amazingly haunting film. I really think it captured the era.
Bill B (us) wrote: This was another film watched during an online horror marathon, and I have to say I was pretty amused by it. Apparently meant to cash in on Jaws success in making the water scary, what if you couldn't even GET to the water? People disappearing form a seaside neighborhood leaves the locals scrambling to see who or what is dismembering the victims, and I thought it was a good bit of fun.Rental!

David L (br) wrote: Harakiri does have a somewhat boring second act and that family stuff was unnecessary, but the storytelling here is fantastic with such a great use of flashbacks, a very unpredictable nature to it, clever themes and so many memorable scenes. It also has such a strong visual flair with many great shots, it is well directed and acted and it is overall such an interesting, really well crafted picture.
