James H (gb) wrote: Death Proof is underrated because it is Tarantino's weakest film. It's still a good film. The stunt work is brilliant, the performances are all convincing but although the characters are good, none of them rank with most of the characters from Tarantino's other films. The soundtrack is decent and the script is still fire as always. The thing that was lacking the most was the motivation behind Kurt Russell's character Stuntman Mike and why he does what he does. We never really get any proper explanation. This movie also looks nowhere near as good as Tarantino's other films, it looks quite poor actually, particularly nothing on the Kill Bills, which came out a few years before this.

Bill R (ag) wrote: Bad acting, cheap gore, this is one of those movies they play at like two in the morning on cinemax...bad.
Chris R (br) wrote: An amazing true story all caught on home footage. A man goes out in the wild and documents himself building a cabin from the ground up. It's a calming film, with shots of wildlife and the beautiful alaskan scenery.

Geoff P (nl) wrote: IF you think Indian cinema is all Bollywood singing and dancing, just watch this film. Based on a true story, this is a no-holds-barred violent tale of rebellion and challenging political and social mores with the point of a bayonet.
Jess B (fr) wrote: Beautifully shot, with lush scenery and a somewhat haunting tone. Sometimes difficult to follow, but anything but forgettable.
Theodore H (kr) wrote: Diagetic music makes its creative debut as the distracting joy and carelessness of cabaret living is slowly shrouded by the growing threat of Nazism. Liza Minnelli is beautiful, and Joel Grey is deliciously demented.
Scott A (br) wrote: Okay, I'm not sure if there was really any plot. It really is a live song, followed by an explicit sexual act. These two actors do every thing for real on screen, and see a lot of live bands. I guess the music sounds good and give them props for the stones they had to bang on camera. But seriously, no plot.
