Josh L (it) wrote: Pretty good for a made-for-TV movie. It manages to work in several surprising but true tidbits while playing loose with historical accuracy on others. Some of the casting is pretty good and Tom Berenger does a fine job as TR, but other casting decisions like McKinley's were sketchy at best. Probably has more subplots than necessary too.

Stacy S (it) wrote: I learned a lot from this film and it made me a fan of documentaries in general. I watched this movie in my California history class and I think all Californians should watch it as well so they can see what an amazing person he was and his incredible mission to improve our community. You will be missed!
