Sanchayan S (jp) wrote: A nice strong story revolving around the relationship of a horse and its rider , exploring the deeper connections of life through the relationship , however the film suffers from unnecessary early forty minutes that could easily be discarded without affecting the story .

Barb K (ru) wrote: Horrible, narcissistic movie. This woman thinks she is making it easier on her family and friends not to tell them she is dying of cancer. It's not easier when someone's death comes as a surprise! It's so much better for everyone to be able to know, to savor the time together and to share each other's heart and emotions.Think of the professor "Last Lecture" - He died of cancer too, and he lived life to the limits with his family, friends, and colleagues all aware. And his woman needlessly cheats on her husband who loves her, to get involved with another man, and get him involved in her life when she has 1-2 months to live. How selfish to her husband! How selfish to this other man! The movie is so unrealistic at the end. Playing that "trick" on everyone, and getting sick and dying when your family did not know you had terminal cancer, is the utmost of selfishness and disregard for people you love and who love you. I'd like to give this movie a zero or negative number. I will never get this 2 hours back. Complete waste of time. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR ENERGY.

Dustin D (fr) wrote: Lee's joint is a sharp film as it shows the escalation of tensions throughout a day until it explodes in a race riot, without ever getting preachy. The characters, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, are portrayed as complicated and sympathetic. I don't think Lee's character, Mookie, did "the right thing" at the end, but the movie did get me thinking more than almost any other movie has. In light of recent events, this is as relevant today as it was in 1989.

Crystal E (gb) wrote: I really liked this. A super interesting post apocalyptic loss of the senses wrapped up in a veiled love story. I think was was too enthralled by the idea of the worlds reaction to losing their senses one by one and what an interesting idea this was for me to find any flaws. Slow to start but it watches like an interesting scifi.
