But here the alternate reality is contemporary New York City where past and future experiences of trust, commitment and denial are cleverly put to the test. "Michael Mayer" was not laying blame on anyone, just talking clearly to tell us as his hero "Nimir" said: "everything is on my c**k, I care about humanity". Political and moral contradiction which seen heavily here are the entrance to know how humanist work is done. It's not only an impossible homo love story enters under the skin between "Nimr"a Palestinian student (Nicholas Jacob) and "Roy" Israeli lawyer (Michael Aloni), it's how to find out points of convergence. The honest way of capturing the daily events and rounding look of each one of the lover was amazing, that could make it extremely romantic and deep, although we know that it will be ended with a tragedy. Nice cinematographic work, nice dark shots, lovely music, calm steady performances. I guess I consider the title as something spiritual more than eventual. The script develops from the love story to touch dangerous places politically and religiously to show a struggle or a shout for "Human Rights". I admit it's sharp to digest, not because the LGBT story it rests on, but because our futile ideological thoughts which you have to get outside of them, to see plainly "out in the dark".

(it) wrote: Great performances from all the cast as, however the film at times feels slow part of that is because they are too many characters too focus on, aside from that the story is good if you like business movies, In the end, its a good movie.
