Brian C (ca) wrote: Very well done zombie horror movie. The main characters are interesting, and get themselves to where they believe is a safe haven. But soon find out it has troubles of its own.A really decent story, and filmed entirely on a DSLR camera. Quite enjoyable.

David C (gb) wrote: South London sci-fi on a budget. Attempts to do for sci-fi horror what Sean of the Dead did for zombie movies but not as funny.

Emod L (fr) wrote: 90%A tight, engrossing documentary that's as emotionally involving as it is thrilling.

Noah S (it) wrote: It couldn't stay centered long enough to temper the wacky directing. The consumer motifs became painfully obvious and completely irrelevant, but I guess that's pretty true to life.

The stereotypes of Southerners/country people weren't so much cutesy as slightly offensive, and the depiction of New Yorkers/city people weren't too flattering either. I like you, Reece Witherspoon, and I know you have authenticity in that you are actually a legitimate Southern gal, but did you worry at all about this movie making Legally Blonde look like Shakespeare? ...Or was that part of your genius plan? ;)

Kc L (gb) wrote: boring, except the nude scenes of Angelina.

Paul C (nl) wrote: Intelligent police drama played out by an amazing cast, particularly Ian Holm. The love story does kind of detract from what would be a very good police corruption tale, and it is all wrapped up a bit too neatly in the end, but it is an enjoyable view nevertheless.

Martin T (fr) wrote: Okay, it's better than Petey Wheatstraw, at least. It would be difficult to enumerate all the ways this movie is bad, but it does tend more towards the "so bad it's good" variety. Which can be entertaining, and there is a sort of gloriousness to the amateur writing, acting, and production. However, I don't find Rudy Ray Moore's schtick very funny, and there are a number of dull patches. And "so bad it's good" is still... well, bad. Kind of fun, not as fun as I'd hoped for.
