Shawn M (it) wrote: one of the title cards in the beginning states this movie is based on a book. I think that may be this movies biggest problem. it tries to stuff an entire book into 2 hours. certainly had its exciting and interesting movies. bet the book was great. but as a movie..meh.

Sabrina Q (au) wrote: This moral of this movie is that, when you know there is hope, don't let the others around you bring you down. Ignore their negative comments and try to show them that there is hope, cause having hope may bring you a long way ahead. =) I just adored this movie. Great characters and great story.

Colton C (de) wrote: I can't believe it took my so long to see this gem all the way through. I feel like just about anyone can relate to someone in this movie.

Pablo M (au) wrote: I've read a few reviews slamming this movie and the majority of the complaints are because it is not like the first one. This is not a collection of short stories but one story. It is based on a story written by the owner of Heavy Metal magazine Kevin Eastman and starring his wife Julie Strain. This movie is based on a graphic novel Eastman wrote called The Melting Pot. The only thing this movie has in common with the first one is the name and a few costumes from the last story of the first movie, Taarna. With that being said I thought this was a great movie. The music and voice acting is solid. The animation is great and having the lead character based on Julie Strain doesn't hurt either. The story is ok but it dragged on a bit.Again, the music is just great, Im a huge rock, hard rock, Metal and Dead Metal fan, so I guess I can be a bit bias with the music, but yet again the movie is call 'Heavy Metal' for a reason. If you like a gritty story with great animation, great music, sex, and violence then by all means pick this up. If you don't have an open mind and are just expecting something like the first movie then don't waste your time . . . .

Lance S (ru) wrote: What can I say? It would be virtually impossible for me to not like this movie. The formula is a perfect. Take the ultimate smart-n-sassy sex goddess, Raquel Welch, drop her (quite literally) into a picturesque Mediterranean village, throw in a lime green bikini to spice things up a bit, add a pinch of classic '60s tongue-in-cheek spy story and you have quite possibly the perfect recipe for great escapist entertainment. I loved it!

Brian W (br) wrote: Stumbled across this by accident, but what a surprise this was! Jane Fonda back looking sexy, and in a lead role as the "queen of the outlaws", and Lee Marvin in a dual role that won him the oscar for best actor. The songs are catchy, and there's a surprising amount of violence, and some dark humour thrown on top.

Private U (mx) wrote: Surprisingly great. I thought it was going to be really boring, but it was a great film.
