Aaron C (jp) wrote: not your everyday (jack) black comedy. i decided to be kind to myself and watched this on fast-forward.

Terry G (fr) wrote: Like its star, the film is beautiful and exotic. Certainly won't appeal to everyone. Repetition and crazy repeating and not repeating story lines stretch the limits of patience and sanity ... or provide the perfect mental escape.

Tom D (de) wrote: This is a average drama/thriller that does not really add anything new. Guy Pearce and J.K. Simmons are both good in this film but the story is lackluster.

Kaleigh R (fr) wrote: It's a very sad movie and true story

Wolfy J (ca) wrote: Such a cool concept for a movie. Loved the idea behind it. Just needed more time in the editing room and a little more time fixing the plot. Acting was great/direction was great. I'm sure Darren Aronofsky would have loved more control and time. Could have been one of the best movies ever made. So much potential.

Amber B (mx) wrote: A womanizer falls in love with the younger, innocent sister of his best friend, creating drama for all in their circle. Raw and realistic, this movie viscerally demonstrates how sex can complicate otherwise pure loving relationships...but not in the way you might think. The story and acting were believable and elicited gut-wrenching emotions that left me thinking even after the credits rolled. Anyone who has ever had their heart broken will likely related to this film. I thought it was well-done but would not recommend it to anyone expecting a typical Hollywood ending.

Alex A (jp) wrote: Kitano's film is interesting, but overall uneven still all together it's effective.

Tatsuhito K (nl) wrote: An outrageously funny black comedy. MASH combines stinging social commentary with humor. It is chaotic fun.

stefano l (kr) wrote: An apparently easy task some peace operators in the Ex Jugoslavia have to take on, is the starting point in showing the atrocity of one of the most terrible wars of the last 20 years. The film is very light, although the topic could make you think of it as very harsh to watch.
