Keaton H (nl) wrote: The movie was superb! My YM & YW watched it together. At the very end, every single one of the YW were crying and the YM were trying not to. Great movie!

Liam P (it) wrote: Wonderful film about the relationship between a father and son. Don't expect easy answers or explanations. Beautifully shot and acted. Has a depth that goes further than what we see on screen through the audience's own interpretation of themes and character connections. Loved it a whole lot.
Jason H (br) wrote: Most beautifully paced film I've seen. Gleaming wet verdant Ho Chi Minh City in its steamy, languorous glory.
Dannielle A (gb) wrote: This movie is not "Simply Irresistible." It's quite silly to the extent that I was embarrassed for the producers. The concept was great ("customers can taste the cook's feelings" had so much potential.) However, it was not executed well. I loved the costumes, sets, and just the overall feel of the movie but the script was sadly lacking and there were so many cringe moments like when they're flying in the air as they kiss. *FACE PALM*
Paul C (au) wrote: Not too bad for a low-budget action movie, although Mortenson was yet to deliver any of the ability he would show in the LOTR trilogy. Some good action sequences and a gorgeous love interest in Cristina Lawson make this an above average thriller.
Daryl K (jp) wrote: If you like your '70s-style violence cut with brief clips of hardcore pornography, then this rape-revenge exploitation flick is the one for you. Christina Lindberg is definitely easy on the eyes, but her mute performance works about as well as going full mongoloid. Speaking of eyes -- OUCH!

Bradley H (de) wrote: A delightful romp starring Rock Hudson at the beginning of career and Charles Coburn at the end of his. Cheerful and hugely entertaining, this little gem deserves to be more well known than it is.
Christopher B (ag) wrote: Not too original as a horror/slasher flick, but it does have some solid cinematography and great old-world locations. A few minor surprises in the story line and overall the actors gave the director everything that was asked of them - which wasn't a performance worthy of any prestigious award.
