Roni A (jp) wrote: I liked this film. I liked its message: that there is a difference between the ritualistic legalism of "religion" and the plain and simple love of Christ. Kathleen Turner brilliantly portrays a woman hellbent on "earning" absolution for her sins and the approval of the people at her church, and higherups. She does what many of us do....work to prove to God that we're worthy, which is ridiculous since he already said we are forgiven and that relationship with him is all he really wants. When confronted with her less than perfect (in the eyes of the Catholic church, and probably others as well) family, she struggles to find where her values really need a revisit and succeeds by the end of the film to choose the real God AND her family.

William F (ag) wrote: It was an epic heart stopping journey through a beautiful mid-evil Europe. You will be captivated by the wonderful casting and acting jobs in this film. I have never seen a better depiction of mid-evil war and conquest. The female actors were all beautiful and held an intimidating prowess met only by the majestic returns to their dialogue by the male actors. The plot takes you on a quest of epic proportions into the mind of a mad genius of a beautiful and tastefully written story. Five stars all around.

Chris B (us) wrote: It is cool that they filmed this over the casts life. I did enjoy this film just didn't live up to the hype for me. The story really isn't all that good. It truly is just a boy growing up.
Andrew L (de) wrote: Grier & Forster stand-out from the crowd of equally brilliant performances, adding heart to this sprawling yet engaging crime caper. Under-appreciated of all Tarantino's movies, & arguably his last great film.
David J (br) wrote: I am not at all a Michael Cera fan but Juno was an extremely enjoyable teen comedy. The jokes were witty and on point and didn't have to rely on dirty humour as a crutch. Cera was perfectly cast as, well, the kind of role he's born for. Ellen Page is fantastic and Olivia Thirlby is hilarious in her supporting role. The entire cast does a good job. Everyone should watch it. Its funny but it ends on a very tasteful note, making it more than a one-note film.
Craig C (fr) wrote: most 80's comedies arent really that funny. This is not an exception.
