Josh X H (ru) wrote: A fascinating, heartbreaking story of government, bureaucracy & greed run awry, where the heroes are somehow the villains and the crooks get the payout.

Ruby H (jp) wrote: This one's a Dutch production, set in Amsterdam, and there's a character that slightly resembles Alfred Molina. There's some laughs but not as much as the director probably thinks (the 'video game' sequences in particular are bad enough to almost render the whole movie unwatchable) Virtually no scares and almost no gore, as most blood is replaced by green, alien slime. But it's all harmless stuff and the people who made this seem to mean well, in an over-excited kid kind of way. There's much, much worse zombie films out there.

Jenny K (mx) wrote: there were some random funny moments but overall, this movie had really stupid indian comedy that i just don't find funny. Udaan was way better. I give props to the guy who played the fake bin laden because his parts were the only parts that was alright.

Willie J (mx) wrote: "Bullets Over Broadway", a crime-comedy about a playwright who has to deal with an actress's bodyguard, love, and mixed emotions on art and relationships, in 1920's New York. Woody Allen writes yet another classic, filled with memorable characters, funny one-liners, and entertaining situations. But, the best thing about this movie is the acting. John Cusack plays the Allen persona very well, getting the speech pattern down with near perfection. But in most Allen films the standout performances are the supporting performances. Chazz Palminteri, Jennifer Tilly, and Dianne Wiest are sensational. Each of their characters are key components to the film, and they all get the best lines. Although, without a doubt, Dianne Wiest is the best of the bunch. Portraying a character that has to be a comedic version of Norma Desmond, that is so interesting, over-the-top, and funny, we can't help but be drawn to her ways. Along with Jim Broadbent and Joe Viterelli, the whole ensemble comes together, held together with the wonderful dialogue of Woody Allen. But this film is more than meets the eye, as the case is with most Allen films. The central theme of the movie is: what is an artist? Notice how the movie portrays how the unconventional character is the artist, and the expected character is the confused man who tries to find himself in art and love. With the deep nature of the piece, and the entertaining performances and dialogue, Allen has directed a near perfect piece of entertainment.

Ian W (ru) wrote: This is another Spielberg film I have not seen, until now. Far better than I thought it would be. Strong performances, and even an appearance from Phil Collins, keep the film going, when things start to get too sickly.
