William W (it) wrote: The cinematography is great! The lead acting, give it another star! The story...well....It has a few bumps. I thought i was watching Indiana Jones. But instead of Nazis, you get some slow and yet fast at times zombies. Also the main Actor wreaks or disbands almost every vehicle he managed to get working. In all honesty, the props was this films Over kill that leads them to a dead end. when i say end, i mean END!

Monika S (fr) wrote: A super reviewer described this as having a 'frat boy vibe' that would only apply to douches. That sounds about right. A bunch of guys who engage in filmed sexual assault for cash (generously described as 'hooligans' in the trailer) stumble upon found footage horror shorts. Lots of gore, nudity. The whole thing is choppy and overlong. The only scare was the latent fear it left me with that I have underestimated the risk of sexualised violence. Give a wide berth.

Dave T (mx) wrote: At times funny, this Lebanese drama presents coherent social themes about the perpetual cycle of revenge in a small community of Christians and Muslims. Would have been better if the love story between the two main characters played out more effectively.

Guga C (jp) wrote: The movie is very nice! Is a comedy, and I really did laugh a lot watching it... I really don't understand why critics and audience don't like comedy movies!!!

Timothy S (fr) wrote: With its laugh-out-loud raunchy humor, fast-paced action and terrific ensemble cast, "Formula 51" may very well be the best Guy Ritchie movie that Guy Ritchie never made. The director here is actually Ronny Yu, who has never really impressed me much until now, but with this film he has crafted one of the most enjoyable guilty pleasures in recent memory. Right out of the gate, I could tell this was going to be something special. The wonderful opening scene set in the early '70's sets the tone for the rest of the picture, and despite a brief slow-down in the middle, the movie follows through on the promise made by that opening sequence. This is a tongue-in-cheek over the top and violence-filled extravaganza with perfect casting and terrific directing. Even the techno soundtrack, which normally I would have hated, fits here. The plot is fresh and original, filled with twists and a one-of-a-kind ending, but it's the casting that really makes this so enjoyable. It's been a long time since Samuel L. Jackson has been this much fun, and Robert Carlyle is great fun as his partner-in-crime. It's great to see the usually serious Emily Mortimer playing against type, as she plays the most fetching hitwoman I've ever seen but it's Meatloaf who steals the show as the film's main villain. He lights up the screen in every scene he's in, and he steals the film from everyone else in the cast. It's his best film work in years. "Formula 51" is a fast-paced, riotous and smart action-comedy that is equal to the best of Ritchie's crime films. I was smiling from start to finish.

Aj V (es) wrote: Sometimes you get from a film exactly what the title tells you you'll get, in this case flesh. Dallesandro sits around naked doing not much of anything and just wallows in his horrible lifestyle. It's really boring and not worth watching, I don't know what the idea behind this movie was supposed to be, but I think they missed the mark.

Andrea S (ru) wrote: The first mistake this pretty young teacher made was to get off the bus. The second was to walk into Calvin Coolidge High School for the first time. The third was to fall in love with it. Rookie English teacher, Sylvia Barret tries to make a difference in an inner-city school whose administrators are more concerned with rules and regulations than with supplying books to the students. (There is actually an "Up" staircase and a "Down" staircase...one of the rules). If you liked "To Sir With Love", I think you will like this one, too!
