Irony runs rampant as a young rebel (Lucus) turns to the Dark Side a becomes a huge gear in the machine, meanwhile upsetting the balance by destroying the original STAR WARS...because he can. Hey, George! I've got the original triogy on laser disk and there's nothing you can do about! Ha,ha ha ha ha ha aha aha ah...P.S. I'm looking for that holiday special! (ca) wrote: Jim Carrey is enjoyable and does what he does best, but the true story premise is too much one note. Even Ewan McGregor's chemistry with Carrey can't overcome the lightness of the premise. I get it rinse wash repeat. This would have made a great short film, but as a feature it's just blah.

I mean were in Scotland where nobody has a scottish accent, the animation is some of the worst I've ever seen, after 10 minutes of watching it I was able to conclude that this movie SUCKS! I would buy it just to prevent someone else of watching a horrendice peace of shit!!!
(au) wrote: the worst horror film ever. dont try to watch this fellas.
(jp) wrote: out of the spy kids franchise this is the one i consider its greatest acheivement. Which is unfortunate because the film is just ok. The film suffers from hammy acting, laughable visual effects, and some toddler level comedy but i enjoyed the premise, creativity, and nostalgia of it all which is passable in my book.

(nl) wrote: This is one of my favorite films by Tom Selleck. The film is about a aging baseball star who can't get resigned in MLB in the States. So he gets signed on with a professional team in Japan. He learns to love the game again, falls in love and adjust to a different culture. The film is your typical story about a sports player getting his career back. But I liked it. The story is simple and enjoyable. A must see for sport movie fans or those who are baseball fans.
(fr) wrote: If you have paid attention to the every detail of this film and its prequel, the final family tragedy shouldn't come as a complete surprise to you, for there have been adequate traces throughout. If the prequel is about honesty of no avail, the sequel has indeed highlighted justice and offered the audience some consolations to the deceased. However, I am not sure if everyone will still enjoy that when you put feet into the shoes of the 2 'antagonists'. Perhaps they deserve that for their cruelty inflicted, particularly for the less conscientious Montand. But his final scene is far too forlorn, which I can't hold my sympathy towards him. After all, when the wrong thing happens at the wrong time or a wrong person, everyone becomes a loser. In terms of scenery portrayed and depiction of human nature, Manon des Sources may be less marvelous; but when it comes to the degree of shock and fruits of thoughts, this one is definitely superior.
