Pablo G (it) wrote: 3.9/5Impressive as all the guest stars may be, Sound City tends to loose itrs track towards the end as it enjoys presenting the history and the aspects of the locations but eventually doesnt really go nowhere conclusive on the matter, at least not beyond implications. However it does not take away the fact that Sound City does a great job at documenting some important history and connecting a ton of stories and little details that make the documentary even more enjoyable.

Rob R (nl) wrote: This film is like watch a real life drama. Know it is not pretty. No it is not neat. Yes, it is necessary.

Maggie O (au) wrote: i saw this movie on t.v. and i thought this movie was sssssooooo awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jonathan C (ru) wrote: Less a wrestling themed comedy and more of a commercial for WCW. Either way, it fails to deliver any laughs. Maybe one.

Sonya D (ru) wrote: This is such a heartwarming story! It's about a little girl, who's mom is to busy for her. The mother drops her off with a friend, who turns out to be the little girls real father. She warms his heart and inspires him to be a better person, in this beautiful little story! It's got such a great message to it. Fathers can sometimes be the best parent! Emily did such a great job in this movie. She just shined and stoled every scene she was in. Great family movie!

The Critic (es) wrote: Big Foot has never looked more ridiculous. In fact, he looks more like a giant fur rug wearing a rubber mask, resulting in a poorly made film that has very little redeeming features. Unoriginal and predictable.

Pat O (kr) wrote: about to watch "Basquiat" great flick you should watch this movie...

Audrey G (us) wrote: I was ready to give up on it toward the beginning. It's so slow to start that it's almost completely uninteresting. When it gets going, though, Widow's Peak is actually a light, clever movie.

Robert T (gb) wrote: A cinematic expose of Yakuza tax avoidance schemes in Japan and a dedicated (female) tax officer who is gunning to get the monies owed to the government. You'd think this would be po-faced and an utterly boring film; it's actually hilarious, sharp as a tack and fun to watch. Saddest thing of all, director Juzo Itami must have pissed off the Yakuza in a big way some years later because he was found to have 'jumped' from a very tall building. Perhaps he was just a little too close to the mark.

Kelley T (jp) wrote: So I downloaded and watched "Trilogy of Terror" last night. I think I'll start with the negatives. To be honest, parts of this movie made me laugh out loud. Like in the third story, called "Amelia" or something, the leading lady, let me see...Karen Black, that's right, trips on nothing (the carpet maybe?) like four times. But then when you've seen as many horror movies as I have, little things like that are almost expected. There's a part in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4 where Leatherface is hacking through a door with an axe, and the damsel in distress is standing on the other side, waiting. The problem is that ridiculous-ness may make bad horror movies better, but it makes good horror movies worse, and "Trilogy of Terror" is definitely aspiring to be a good horror movie. The only other complaint I have is that the 2nd story was a little predictable... but then this is 1975. I'm sure I've already seen, and gotten bored with, all the movies that were made after this and completely ripped it off. Undoubtedly the best part of this film is the amazing acting from the star of all three stories, Karen Black. I was blown away in the 1st one, when at the end she completely changed personalities, and morphed from a doe eyed school teacher into a black widow seductress (that's my own metaphor/analogy! yay me!). Her dual portrayal of sisters in the 2nd story was equally as memorable. I was impressed. Overall, I would probably give this movie a 7.5/10, and that's only because it's alittle slow in parts. And the ridiculous tripping.

Robert R (jp) wrote: A wholesome and fun romantic comedy with a big heart and a good amount of laughs, it's no surprise why so many films would go on to try and replicate what "Roman Holiday" did first.

Dan S (nl) wrote: Can't understand the critisims levelled at this film, very much made in the same world as Pulp Fiction, Thomas Jane is superb in the lead role, and the various altercations he has possess a genuine edge and brutality whilst retaining a dark humour perfectly.
