Graham C (us) wrote: A must for anyone growing up through the late eighties/early nineties. The stand out cinematography comes on Fools Gold at the very end, but worth the watch for the music. Saw this at the live premiere in Inverness!

Adrian B (ag) wrote: Some okay bits in this light hearted comedy but as a whole there's not much to recommend this

Mago B (es) wrote: Creativa y brillante... o al menos lo es hasta cierto punto. La pelcula se extiende con escenas largas y vagas, que, aunque no la vuelven pesada es un relleno innecesario.

Alex C (ru) wrote: Quoth the black guy, "All I know is I better get a bang-up explanation for this shit or I'mma go Norfolk ping-pong on muthafuckers." This puzzling regional variant of ping-pong is never expounded upon, to my disappointment. And it's a shame---I'd be a lot more interested in that than this rip-off of Saw. Minor spoiler: the black guy dies first (in a comical explosion which ruined an otherwise tense scene). Regular spoiler: Kid afraid of the dark fails at life. At 22, he can't get over his fear of the dark even when his life is at stake and all he has to do is go down a short staircase. That's literally all he has to do. If you're 22 and unable to do this, the only thing you deserve is a laughing audience to cheer at your death. Of course, when he finally does go down the stairs, it's his failure to avoid a very simple trap (hint: crawl UNDER the waist-height tripwire, dumbass) that becomes his undoing. If you can't tell, this scene made me angry with its sheer stupidity.

Amanda H (it) wrote: I'm dying to see this on Broadway, but I figured this would be the next best thing. There are definitely some great performances, but I feel like I can't give it a totally fair review until I've seen it onstage. I will definitely be buying this, though.
