Ho Ho Ho
Horace, a 8 years old boy, who still believes in Santa Clause, received as a Christmas gift a day at the mall. What ought to be a normal Christmas day turns into an adventure when Horace loses his mother. He mets John, a pickpocket disguised as Santa Clause, who was in the middle of an illegal operation. Unlike the Santas on TV, John doesn't seem to like children. Althought, the boy is convinced that this is the real Santa Clause and tail of it, causing all sorts of trouble as dangerous, as funny. (kr) wrote: Nearly flawless and disturbing dark comedy that ranks with the likes of Todd Solondz films. Reading the plot outline or knowing anything about the film before going in might ruin it. So do check this out, but be cautious, this is a film for adults only. It is quite graphic at times, and surprisingly goes places most films will never go.

Kevin Costner and David Marshall Grant play brothers, Costner the older Marcus and Grant the younger, more talented but rebellious David. Like a large chunk of 80's movies, to heighten the drama, they would add a medical ailment to the story, weather this was in response to the new AIDS virus is debatable but strikingly parallel. Well Costner finds out he has a brain aneurysim, he wont be able to run the race but persuades his younger brother to. It follows the script of older brother convinces younger brother to do something good, while hiding his illness from his brother, yet getting annoyed when his younger brother does not take things seriously enough until the truth comes out. The ending is predictable. A chance to see early appearances of Alexandra Paul (Baywatch) and Rae Dawn Chong.
