Meme Power P (ru) wrote: I was surprised how impressed I was, I was so Impressed that this is My First review, and after 3 Rottens too ! The Karine has a Tilda Swinton quality, and Emily has a Evangeline Lily / Kate Beckinsale quality. I watched it for Cory Monteith , He's good. The whole cast is good. I was dreading Melodrama Overkill because of the earlier review. I enjoyed it. It's refreshingly low key.

Peter C (ru) wrote: the first half is tremendous; michael keaton's 'cuckoo's nest'. lags with the reroute of kathy baker, but still such a good movie with keaton in topmost form as a destructive addict.

Vincent F (nl) wrote: Netflix recommended this one to me and I really enjoyed it. A great cast (Selma Blair, Amy Smart, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi, Kevin Pollack and Beau Bridges) and some interesting plot twists make it a fun ride. Sure it's a bit predictable, but if you're just looking for a decent way to spend 90 minutes, this certainly would fit the bill. It's weird that no critics have reviewed this movie yet, but don't let that deter you. It's not the best movie ever but it's at least entertaining.

Michelle T (ru) wrote: This is a classic, and one of my all-time favorite movies. Eric Roberts' performance should have won him an award. I think it's his best performance ever, as he plays his over-the-top character with high energy and a wide range of emotions as he blunders from one situation to another. The interplay between he and Mickey Rourke's character as cousins is endearing, though dysfunctional. There are many other great performances in this movie worth mentioning, like Geraldine Page and Mickey Rourke, of course. I watched this movie several times in the 80's, and not again until this year, and was surprise how well it stands the test of time.
