(mx) wrote: The movie progresses rather tediously in my opinion. As for the plot, the story stays stuck in the same acts. It's hard to become intimate with the actors when they are forced to work with the same small spectrum of emotions or to remain quiet and still on the screen most of the time. The material would make a much sweeter documentary than a film.

(it) wrote: Okay, only 19 years behind in watching this "epic" film. A 3 hour movie that should be 90 mins; cheesy; 1/2 love story - 1/4 business - 1/4 spiritual film, which means nearly a chick-flick. Hopkins, as always, nails his role. Pitt and Forlani are also wonderful. It's the story that has weakness and gaps. The ending is, by many, questionable and undone.
(br) wrote: Excellent cast really all this movie has going for it. Didn't use Jennifer Connelly enough and the movie doesn't really explain who the hell the characters reply are. I found it silly and lazy at most times.
(au) wrote: What the hell happened? This is the same director who did Misery, Spinal Tap, Princess Bride, and Stand By Me! This garbage isn't even worth mentioning...
(gb) wrote: Boring and predictable with a romance that feels shoehorned. One of the worst Batman animated films. Only good part was Mark Hamill's Joker and even he couldn't save this mess. Didn't live up to the hype at all.
(gb) wrote: A very funny cult movie, I really liked it, the story is really good too.The only thing I didn't really like was the ending, but still, I highly recommend it.
(ag) wrote: that is my favorite movie in Philippines.

(es) wrote: There is so much to love about Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. It's a feast for the eyes, with eye popping colour, fabulous costumes and of course the presence of Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell. Monroe is charming as ever, but even in her irresistible glow, Jane Russell steals the show. Hard edged and witty with legs for days, she is a credible dancer and singer, but an even better actress. Her and Monroe appear to be having a blast together and Monroe pulls less of her lost little girl act to match Russell when they're on screen together. It might be a bit of fluff, but it's most definatly a worthwhile and entertaining piece of fluff.
