The mother is an amazing character and I think she alone makes the movie worth watching. It's cute and touching while also having the extra depth of cultural conflict and misunderstanding. As far as gay movies go, I really enjoyed this movie

. . And I didn't realise how easy it is to wander in and out of rich people's apartments in New York: I'm surprised the crime rate isn't higher than it is already. Not giving anything away, but her performance is far better than the revelation the movie throws on us, which was a bit of a disappointment, too hinged on coincidence, too contrived. More of a mystery/suspense than I realised: I had hoped 30 minutes into it that it may become more supernatural, but that never transpired

2 out of 4 stars. Despite a superficial ending, the ending made no sense whatsoever. What happens next is a series of revelations, twists and turns. And calls him to rent the apartment where the elder lady had been murdered on located across where she's living in, except that it had already been rented out already by a young couple- Charles Stanford (Jason Lee) and Lillian Hart (Amy Smart). Ray Fontaine. Because the apartment is left vacant, Abigail then makes a call to someone whom we find out later is a doctor named Dr. And after the detective leaves, we are then shown in flashbacks that she's a victim of physical abuse, which may be the reason why she keeps her lifestyle in isolation. By the time she invites him in, she then informs him her name is Abigail Clayton (Selma Blair), and we find out that she rarely steps one foot out the door since she has a phobia. At first she refuses to get involved until the detective threatens her with a warrant. Detective Frank Giardello (Giovanni Ribisi) is in charge of the case, and tries to impose for more questions answered by asking the lady who is living across the old lady who had been murdered earlier. Scenes drag on too long and half of the movie makes no sense! The acting is good though. The music is horrible in this movie

It's a good movie for kids, and a great one for the parents. The dialogue is hilarious and represents the mind of a child exceptionally well. Does the book justice in every possible way

When he can no longer ignore the total dissimilarity, Peter begins suspecting that something supernatural has occurred, and wondering how he can restore his wife to her former self, especially when her body's new occupant resists the effort and goes on the lam. Soon, Peter begins noticing that his new bride is an entirely different person, but can't figure out why -- and wonders if it's just a natural dose of cold feet. Thinking no one will believe the story, Rita (now hidden inside a cancer-ridden octogenarian) leaves the premises before causing any more of a stir, while the old man in Rita's body is whisked off with Peter on their honeymoon before anyone is the wiser. Longing for the youthfulness he sees in the happy couple, the man inadvertently causes the two to switch bodies during the smooch. Those who claim that marriage changes a person couldn't be more right in this case, as a confused old man (Sydney Walker) wanders into the wedding reception and plants a single kiss on the lips of the new bride. When the two decide to marry, however, an unforeseeable cosmic occurrence entirely alters the nature of their relationship. When he meets a free-spirited, sleep-deprived bartender named Rita (Meg Ryan), the opposites attract and launch into a round-the-clock romance characterized by private jokes and an intense connection that defies description. In this quirky romantic comedy about soul transference, Alec Baldwin plays Peter Hoskins, the straight-laced head of the microfiche department at a company that publishes scientific journals

Skip this one. But its the story's plot that goes nowhere, and bad character development/decisions make for a weak horror thriller. The production values are solid for a film with a lower budget, and the acting is decent. Vanishing on 7th Street is a a really weak film, underdeveloped and has no explanation or ending. Anderson has directed some underrated thrillers, such as Session 9 and Transsiberian. I only watched this because it was directed by Brad Anderson
