Atul V (de) wrote: Kudos to Anurag Kashyap and the principal writer Syed for taking this bold step setting the movie in a crime hinterland with quirky characters grounded in their own reality and to some extend this team is successful. It captures the true essence of the crime and politics scene in post independence bihar and afterwards. The movie is filled with amazing performances by the superb cast. The movie captures the quirkyness of these characters and decorated it with the amazing music from the composer Sneha Khanwalker. Special mention is the breakout actor Jaideep Ahlawat who reigns the screen in the first quarter of the film. The movie sometimes feels refrencing to City of God in the structure. Having said that, the movie suffers from 'passion project syndrome'...at times it feels like the director and writer did not want to let go of any of the scene. Result, it stretches too long and very poorly edited. The movie suffers from the structure issue from the script and in the second half may feel like episodic in nature.Overall, wonderful try from the director known to venture into risky stories with success in comparison to his peers in indian cinema and he almost gets it right.

Cassidy S (ru) wrote: Though it is a remake, The Amazing Spider-Man manages to breathe new life into a beloved story for people who weren't impressed with Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man, like myself. Garfield and Stone's chemistry is undeniable, and each of the talented actors are great in their own respective roles.
