Hornblower: Mutiny

Hornblower: Mutiny

The Hornblower series is based on C.S. Forester's classic maritime adventures - the story of one young man's struggle to become a leader of men. Set against the back drop of the 18th century Anglo-French wars, the bloodiest time in British naval history. Hornblower and his comrades come under the command of a revered but obviously mentally unstable captain and eventually must mutiny.

Ryan K (es) wrote: I love Spike Lee films, and that includes this one. Definitely has its flaws, but still a great film. It starts off very loose and feels almost like you're watching a play, which I find other Spike Lee films like as well, especially those in his Brooklyn series. It all seems to be sailing along harmlessly and then, in typical Spike Lee fashion, the shit hits the fan. As always, some challenging and important themes explored in Spike's unique way. Definitely worth seeing and pondering.

Beccy W (ag) wrote: A be-continued of Heidi, well, very off storyline, but even more humorous is Charlie Sheen playing 'good boy' Peter (in his late 20's) as the young gal is played by a barely in teens... odd to see a romantic scene with them. And why doesn't grandpa have a name?! Odd flick... good for a quick 'halmark' type fix.
