John T (fr) wrote: With Route Irish , Ken Loach has attempted to make a mainstream anti war film that is supposed to make you sit up and take notice .With the brutality of this film , you have no choice but to take notice but as a film there are to many things wrong with it for me to be able to recommend it to anyone.Firstly let me say that the lead actor , Mark Womak is good , as is John Bishop for the 30 seconds he's in it but the rest of the cast let the side down badly. Andrea Lowe is a poor actress and some of her acting is extremely wooden. The plot is confusing at times too. I wasn't sure what was going on and who they were talking about at times and that really spoilt it for me.Funnily enough , the hard to stomach scenes are the best of the movie. The horrific real shots of kills in Iraq are jaw dropping as is the water boart torture scene. Well done to the actor who agreed to put up with that !.Route Irish is ok but still disappointing, which is a shame.

Algy G (ru) wrote: Saw this movie a while ago already (bought the DVD) but it left a lasting impression on me, as I'm sure it will on you. The photography is haunting and the images are lasting. If you ever wondered about where all those end-of-life products end up, this movie will 'enlighten' you. Warning, it's not a 'Lassie' movie... it's more of a real life Wall-e

Andruw F (ca) wrote: Glimpses of an interesting idea surrounded by utter stupidity. The beginning did have some laughs though, mainly thanks to Jason Lee. Oh, and I really liked Duddits. It's also too long. I can't say that it gets that boring, but you definitely are never wanting to continue watching. And the ending was just alright. Maybe if it had been executed better I would have liked it more. All the leads give there all, but the writing, the script, and the plot are just so stupid that they sometimes look stupid. Morgan Freeman, sadly, isn't the best part or a redeeming value. He honestly was kind of a dick. BUT, I really liked that he wasn't thrown in just so he could narrate the trailer. Even though there are far superior movies that he actually has a role in.

Chris S (au) wrote: Another great documentary on an issue that has been made fun of so much that even a serious documentary on it, in this day and age, seems like a comedy.

Ithak N (es) wrote: Great piece of original bollywood with a bizarre and pointless appearance by Shahrukh Khan. Actually the first bollywood movie i saw in the cinema believe it or not!

Dustin Y (au) wrote: Shit doesn't even get real until the last 10 mins. Anyone singing this movies praises over green inferno is being a fucking hipster

Ian R (ag) wrote: Beyond being the film debut of Arnold Schwarzenegger this film is your typical fish out of water story and at that not a very good one. The film features Heracles, played by Austrian bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger, defying is father Zeus by leaving Mount Olympus because he is bored. Heracles arrives in modern day New York City where "hilarity" ensues as Heracles discovers the modern world.
