With lie after lie being spun, Robert Miller watches as his life, his company and the futures of his family are put on the line as he tries to undo all the damage he has caused. Add a fatal car accident on top of it all and Robert Miller comes to realize he may not make it out unscathed. Richard Gere is fantastic as he uses the acting abilities for which he is so famous for. Susan Sarandon is astounding as ever though I wish we could have seen more of her character. I felt she was very underutilized. The storyline isn't bad but I felt it dragged on a little bit longer than it should have as well as it had some weak spots. Some parts were a bit confusing but you nevertheless get the whole picture. The dialogue is crisp and never dull. All in all, not a bad film. Definitely one to watch, but not really to buy and own.

Aimee S (au) wrote: Only about 1/2 way through the movie and I'm not sure what I think. The camera angles are nauseating and the acting subpar.

Shah K (ca) wrote: awesome movie, and great concept taken in the movie

Stephen D (kr) wrote: Storyline was OK, and it had potential, but everything else just sucked. The acting was especially terrible - barely good enough to be called a "B'' flick. Corny dialogue as well....

Alex T (gb) wrote: If I hadn't assumed it was an adaptation of Bill Buford's Among the Thugs, which I've never read, I would have been more bothered by the contrived and melodramatic plot. It is mildly entertaining and occasionally funny without being emotionally resonant.

Cale b (mx) wrote: This is not your typical 'torture porn' horror film. This is a character drama based around the life of Dahmer. Some may argue it is a bit slow paced however I personally loved the anticipation and slow elements. The only problem with this movie is that it doesn't really have a definitive ending (why didn't they film the arrest and not just tell you in writing?) and the film doesn't tell you much about the true story of Jeffrey Dahmer.

With it's running time of more than two hours, the story dwells too much the chemistry amongst the crew, especially the young boys than the actual storm that claimed a few lives! I'd like to see the film cut to the chase than to see a bunch of kids arguing with each other! Since I'm already aware of the incident, it'd work well as a documentary than as a feature film with people portraying these other characters! 1.5 out of 4

Theo H (it) wrote: Saw this movie when I was a bit too young, at age 11, and fell in love with Jennifer Connelly !!! Great film, mixing eighties comedy and some dark, arty moments too.

Max D (ag) wrote: Gosh I remember seeing this thing as a kid and for years I could not remember the name of it, regardless it's great to be taken back to my childhood and remember these characters. It may not have been my favorite movie, but I remember enjoying at least looking at it. It was great to watch it from an adult perspective and it's still entertaining, it's heavily creative with its characters and world just a joy to watch. Unfortunately children will be a bit lost on the story (honestly I didn't even remember it) and it's obviously a more visual. Definitely overrated I just hope one day this creative take on a fairy tale will be more well known in the future.

Wayne H (it) wrote: A quaint gangster film that tells what life is like at the bottom of the food chain. This is the anti-Good Fellas. The anti-hero of the movie is a guy named 'Mr. Cooper'. He's a guy at the end of his rope and influence. It is an interesting story ... but, not something that I can recommend to my FB-friends.

Nikki D (ru) wrote: A good idea, clever in places but the ending was a bit of a let down. There were quite a lot of loose ends for me.
