My ten year old could have done better. Total crap. Worse than D grade in fact it is so far off the rating scale it's not funny. Straight into the trash do not pass go do not collect $200. Don't waste your time. That's ten minutes of my life I will never get back.

Amanda H (nl) wrote: While this isn't quite as blatantly disgusting as The Hills Have Eyes, it's in a similar vein, and the copious amount of violence destroys what could otherwise have been a great movie. The dogs are massive overkill, and the gore is at least several steps too far. Too bad, because the plot is actually quite good, and with less gross-out factor this would have been a much more entertaining movie. As it was, I just spent the entire time trying not to be sick.

Hael C (it) wrote: A boxing movie that wasn't all about boxing. it(TM)s actually about coming to terms with the deep-seated abandonment and inferiority complex issues you have with your derelict father. Also about journalism integrity and more. Samuel Jackson was great. he had heart and soul. which made this movie more about morality than boxing. So overall, good movie but likes Erick's writing good but forgettable.
Tim M (br) wrote: The jokes feel a bit more forced as does the slapstick but the humor is still there. Another good mystery that keeps you guessing though it doesn't have the same feel as the previous three Thin Man movies. I like that it brings Lt. Abrams back though as he is a good character. The merry-go-round scene is quite funny. A good mystery but a lesser film in the series.
Charlie L (br) wrote: A fantastically written script and brilliant performances lend greatly to this engaging drama.
Frank L (it) wrote: Great movie, terrible ending. You would think someone with Butler's character's foresight would have an contingency plan for the final scene.
