As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Ruby H (us) wrote: So this dude's mounting this gal when she asks him,"Do you like it better than ice-cream?""Yes!""Do you like it better than chocolate ice-cream?""Yes!""Do you like it better than Jesus?""..that's inappropriate"And, this being Hatchet, she asks one more,"Do you like it better than baby Jesus?""I'd say equal amount.."You better find this funny, because it may very well be the only successful attempt at it throughout the film. Not that Hatchet is a comedy, but the director's attempts at it are so bad (the cookie scene, for one) they are actually cringe inducing. So far, so Hatchet. Bad acting all around, trembling-weak script, competent direction, and literally buckets of blood, which is the reason why we are here. The death toll is high, and the killings are inventive and really over-the-top, but, unfortunately, this sequel lacks the shock factor the first one had. And no-brainers like this really need that.

Amanda H (mx) wrote: I rated this movie as highly as I did not because it's a particularly great film, but because it's an important one. Rather than just being two hours of stuff getting blown up, it looks at the life of a soldier from a human standpoint, and that's not done nearly often enough. The acting is great, and while there's not a great amount of action or even all that much plot, it really makes you think about how much these people sacrifice for their country.

Geoff R (br) wrote: Some odd reason, this is one of my favorite movies of all time, really fun movie.

Lea W (ca) wrote: This is a good non-fiction movie it's nice to see the director's view it should have been a little more like the real thing. I do love the message and the meaning in this story.
