Jason R (kr) wrote: A very unfair movie and thesis to even present. Why try and argue that the 1890s is moral than the current day. Sin exist in the same abundance through each time it is given notice.

Mario V (au) wrote: The genuine care and commitment to make an adaptation of the beloved but very low budget show, overcome the terrible acting, effects and cinematography.

Brian S (au) wrote: Even when he was just starting out, Quentin Tarantino has always had a talent for bringing us great stylish movies. Even though Reservoir Dogs may look like a low-budget experimental project compared to Tarantino's later works, it's still an intelligent crime film, full of great dialogue and gritty, gory effects and shooting scenes. I don't think I would've ever guessed that a modestly budgeted crime film would've been that good. Recommended !!

Sharon J (fr) wrote: This is no where a masterpiece but it entertains for a few hours (although it didnt do the careers of the famous actors any good! hehe) Entertaining tosh. 5 words sum up this film for me: Anthony . Valentine . Sexy . SS uniform :)

Paul E (us) wrote: Honestly, I could really empathize with the ants in this one.

Rob L (kr) wrote: House of Dark Shadows is probably the best vampire film since Bela Lugosi's original Dracula. Taking the villian and turning him into a sympathetic hero and then get betrayed and thus converting him back into a villian is brilliant. Obviously, those who viewed the TV shw prior t the film have a better appreciation than those who did not, nevertheless, iti is a different and unique twist which is capably pulled off by shakespearean actor Frid and the supporting cast. Bravo! even 46 years later!

Brett C (ru) wrote: An amazing take on Vampires and Werewolves - Bill Nighy and Michael Sheen don't know how to give a bad performance, and Nighy's Victor is the most imposing Vampire Lord you will see outside of Christopher Lee Dracula movie. Beckinsa lie and Speedman are solid in their roles, and the action is fun, frequent, and cleverly executed. As for the story, it's tale of war, politics, forbidden love, betrayal and reckoning are worthy of Shakespeare - if the Bard had a fondness for automatic weapons and Kate Beckinsale in skin tight black leather. :)

Roger R (ca) wrote: Strange shit happens in life. The world and the legal system choose to see it in simplistic terms. To tell the real but seemingly bizarre truth exposes the teller to jeopardy. The world chooses to accept its preconceived notions of how things transpire rather than to entertain the possibiity of the truth
