Jim F (es) wrote: If I were to describe this film in one word it would be "unmemorable" it wasn't bad which is why it gets 3 stars. it is based on the graphic novel of the same name which hits though Bruce Wayne's first year as Batman troubles and trials as he figures out how to fight for justice and stay away from the corrupt police department. Eventually Gordon takes over the police and Batman is not considered a threat to the state. it's unmemorable because I borrowed it like 6 months ago, never reviewed it, then rented it again last weekend not realizing I had seen it before. took me until Gordon's second scene before I realized it wasn't just similar to another dc comics straight to DVD film, but the exact same one I had seen earlier.
Ollie W (au) wrote: Sometimes the acting and the obvious budget constraints get a little overbearing, but all-in-all this is a heart-warming and troubling film about unfortunate, abused people and a worthy testimony to Thraves talent as a pure, dedicated, Independent filmmaker.

Bily T (br) wrote: Cars 2 Is much better than the first one because there was a bit more to this film than there was with the first Cars. The story is a lot better, the characters are good as well we learn some new things about some of the characters and we get to meet new characters as well and they are good as well, each area we travel to in the film is so cool each area looks like the actual place accept it's made for Cars, the music is good since it fits as a spy film and this is a spy film after all & as always the animation is always good but then again this is Pixar after all and they are the gods of computer animation no studio will be able to beat Pixar at being the best animation studio. My only downside is that it tries too hard to be perfect spy film when it clearly isn't but it's still a good movie by far and my other downside is that a lot of people say it's the worst Pixar film ever made when I disagree I think it's a great film.Anyways I give Cars 2 a 8.5 out of 10 a good movie which shouldn't have been bashed on for being a bad movie when it clearly isn't a bad movie.

Lady D (ag) wrote: Bad acting, this came across more as bad Slasher than a Thriller. The Killer sounded like a rip off of Jigsaw from the Saw series, the title is copied from 'Se7en' and the 'Riddle Killer' idea, well that has just come straight from the Batman comics. An unintelligent, unoriginal, very predictable film , which sounded much better than it actually was.
Jim A (de) wrote: A boring unfunny comedy without any point or reason to exist. Dan Cook is awful as ever and Jessica Simpson does nothing but stand there and look pretty while unfunny actors make asses of themselves to try to please her

Zachary M (gb) wrote: The only Zack Snyder movie I can say I truly loved from start to finish. The fast style of directing along with a screenplay full of interesting characters makes it a must see for not just horror fans, but lovers of all cinema. The characters are ones with not only defined identities, but who make choices with consequences they must live with. In so many ways this film eclipses the original, which I always found far too slow and drawn out. Why more of Zack Snyder's movies haven't turned out like this I don't know. Hopefully he can reclaim his lost magic again and continue to put out movies that are not serviceable, at best, but truly wonderful again.

Andrea B (ca) wrote: Exactly like watching a car crash!!Hideous - but I couldn't tear my eyes off the screen but was screaming inside .EVEN for the horror genre it was wrong on many, many levels ,the massively back combed wig the geeky guy wakes up in, the neighbour hood voodoo woman ,the devil playing a double-headed 'axe', the entourage, the band, the wall-to-wall spandex in the HUUUGE wardobe (not like mine at all -HONEST!!!) , Tracii Lords wearing clothes during the entire movie. I love hair metal and horror but this takes it waaaay too far!!!!! The only movie that is worse than this is the one written by Brett Michaels from 'Poison' and YES - I watched that all the way through too *dies of shame*.
Farah R (us) wrote: Eddie The Eagle is unlike any biopic, sports related or not, for its uniquely charming simplicity. There's absolutely nothing to dislike about a light-hearted and inspiring underdog story with lovable actors. Egerton and Jackman were perfect in their roles even if the film itself wasn't altogether flawless.
