Mae and Gabby are two friends who go everywhere together but they are not very popular in their school. Their classmates always pressure because they have not had a boyfriend so to avoid further setbacks, the girls put in place a plan to create the perfect boyfriend. Both believe that it will be easy to create their perfect guy using the military team building; machinery owned by the father of Mae, the machine works through a wireless keyboard. It just basically focused on Jack Nicholson recovering from his demons and him dropping his baby son on the floor. Get over it! and he spends his days homeless and trying to get a job. Ughh! I don't get it.

(us) wrote: Godard's ambition is admirable, but the movie never involves. If art, as the movie posits, is what gives humanity to forms, then this movie is either not art or, as later put forward, there's little humanity left. In this way the movie touches on the soul-deadening nature of modern life and the difficulty of making art, as well as the profundity of language. The film's slice of life is much too narrow to make this a convincing argument, and it's so damn pretentious and full of its philosophical musings that there's no emotion of any sort in the film (including in the arguments it's making). If nothing really matters, if everything is just a daily succession of events that rarely have meaning, then this film too has little lasting meaning.

Doc gives Val an overview of his surroundings and resources and Val has visions of living his life to the fullest; maybe doing one more job, and making something of his life outside the joint. Doc is hesitant but not completely resistant."Tomorrow became today.""It usually does."Fisher Stevens, director of Just a Kiss, delivers Stand Up Guys. The storyline for this movie is actually really good and unfolds better than I anticipated. Pacino's acting as the main character is a little too much at times, but Walken as Doc is wonderful and the character is very well written. Alan Arkin, Julianna Margulies, and Craig Sheffer also gave solid supporting performances. "I hope the commode is to your liking."This was a movie I came across on Netflix and thought it may be worth a viewing. It was just okay at the beginning with some entertaining interactions, but the story unfolds pretty well. This actually reminded me of a better version of the recent Equalizer film."Your jab still looks pretty good."Grade: B-/B (7.25)
