Matt G (jp) wrote: As a fan of time travel fiction, this was a great way to introduce my 3-year-old to the notoriously complicated genre. Sure, the CG animation doesn't really hold up (traditional would've stood the test of time better), but the story is incredibly earnest, childishly twisty and provides a surprising amount of decent jokes. A concept that is better than its execution, but what a great (original) Disney-fied concept.

Ashley H (au) wrote: This is a delightfully silly Christmas film with lines & lyrics to make you laugh out loud. The lead characters come over strongly, animation is good and the message clear. However the songs that make this film a must see.

Mara P (gb) wrote: Beautiful and underrated (except here on RT!). They don't make films like this anymore.
Brandon W (it) wrote: Airheads is actually not that bad, and I kind of expect it to be bad because it has Adam Sandler in it. It has a decent amount of laughs from Brendan Fraser and Steve Buscemi, but I actually got some laughs from Adam Sandler too which surprised me and can show that he can be a funny comedian when it's not his script. The acting is good, and the main characters show that they know that what they are doing is wrong unlike Project X. The plot is a bit of a mess, and there's some moments that are a way for the movie to keep going. It does have some stupid moments, and it does make it feel like it should've been a sketch from Saturday Night Live, but it kind of works for me. Airheads is an unexpected movie from me and I hope there's other films like this that can surprise me.

Jose Miguel G (de) wrote: Scorsese's first gangster-flick is filled with great environments and interesting characters, specially Keitel's and DeNiro's, but the lack of solid story and a slow pace script keeps the film from going further, something that the groundbreaking director clearly learned to perfect in future instalements.

Raji K (kr) wrote: Just as Earth was destroyed at the end of the second film in the series, the kind and popular apes Cornelius and Zira managed to escape only to arrive in Earth in common present time. Their ability to speak of course fascinates humans, but as it becomes known what could happen in the future, the existence of the apes themselves is threatened. The third apes film is quite different from the first two films, and at some point seems to be too comedic. The film has some interesting points, and does manage to advance the story, but is easily the least interesting and original of the trilogy.
John T (jp) wrote: A journey into the mind of a psychopath. Forget about Hannibal Lecter nonsense -- this movie explores the true banality of evil. How such a seemingly nondescript man harbors such malevolence, and does horrifying things to fellow humans as a form of self-amusement, gives to the audience a warning: Monsters do exist, and you probably know one or two. This movie is an adaptation of a novel by the Dutch writer Tim Krabbe. Krabbe is also a competitive cyclist and a chess grand master.Avoid the American version, also called The Vanishing. It embodies everything that is wrong with corporate Hollywood.
