David L (fr) wrote: Really not a fan of this one at all - dull, confusing and completely far fetched. Unfortunately we get to witness another attempt at converting a pop princess to a film star, and time and time again it always seems to end in failure! This time it's Christina Milian who tries her luck, but perhaps she ought to look at the script before making a bid for movie fame! I'm still a bit confused as to what this was all about but I think it centres around the dead attempting to prey upon victims by attacking them through computerised devices. Wherever there is a signal, there is trouble, and we witness a girl and her friends attempting to delete the virus before it claims anymore victims. It has a depressing storyline in the sense that once the targeted are attacked, they become motionless zombie like creatures that turn completely lifeless and ultimately end up committing suicide! It's ironic therefore, that although I don't have any virus, I did almost contemplate suicide whilst watching this as it was very uninspiring and repetitive. Every 5 minutes, a friend would die through the same method, and it was a process of elimination until we reached the 'final twist' - At least that is what the synopsis said but I'm still trying to work out what that so called twist was! Having said that, the DVD cover also bragged that it was the scariest film of the year - I'm guessing this was released on the 1st of January then?! It's been sat on my shelf for a number of years, and having finally bitten the bullet and watched this one, it will now just be a dust collector as I won't be watching this again in a hurry!
