I Am Santa Claus

Everyone thinks of Santa Claus as a magical figure without flaws, but the men who keep his legend alive, real-bearded professional Santas, are nothing like the jolly ol' Saint Nick we've all grown up knowing. In reality, the mall Santa in your cherished children's photo has problems just like the rest of us. Even the jolliest of men fall victim to divorce, job loss, insecurity and even the occasional hangover. 'I Am Santa Claus' is a documentary that follows the lives of five real-bearded professional Santa Clauses as they anticipate and prepare the coming holiday season while showing them for who they actually are flawed, flesh and blood men who feel an overbearing responsibility to protect the integrity of the spotless, untarnished reputation of the "Red Suit."

The documentary goes inside the life of five real-bearded professional Santa Clauses. They are shown who they are, what they must prepare for the coming holiday season and more. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

I'll say that the animation is quite detailed and the character designs are fitting. -evenifsomeoftheirhairiskindainsane- Well, the true problem involve the plot. Considering it's about BRS, you'd think there would be more of her. Sadly, most of the movie centers around Mato Kuroi and her normal life. It makes sense considering BRS is Mato's other self but most people come for BRS, not for Mato. I'll say that it'd be suitable if the Mato parts were in the beginning and after -spoiler-, we'd get the BRS parts. Also, the voice actors were amazing in this. Well, I hope this helps.

Tomer H (it) wrote: Done by over-the-top acting, Carnage is a well directed film, about a "couples" war.

David L (ru) wrote: Hellboy is visually arresting with a great gothic style to it, but the characters aren't memorable, the mythology isn't particularly interesting and the action is underwhelming. It has its moments, the main character is good and the film is well made, but it is never that entertaining or exciting and it is one of del Toro's weakest efforts.

Jeffrey F (it) wrote: Between this and Yojimbo, this is the more playful film, and it used to be one of my favs, though I've recently gravitated toward the grittier, morally questionable tales like Onibaba and Sword of Doom. Still, Kurosawa earns his reputation heartily as someone who portray's the elements of feudal life in a convincing way. The way Sanjuro acts towards the women, who are his lords, and the men, his pupils, is quite revealing, and gives excellent insight into the cast system. He sees the women's refined behavior as something to be preserved and emulated, while regretting his role and identity as the unsheathed sword. This might be the unspoken tragedy of the film, and the impetus that keeps our hero wandering in a sort of penance.

Jeffrey S (de) wrote: Probably best to watch it stoned! In some ways brilliant and avant-garde, with a subject ahead of its time, but with inexplicable stock footage (wild buffalo stampeding!), Bela Lugosi. It is so bad, but not "so bad it is good," like Attack of the 50-foot Woman. Dolores Fuller (real-life wife of Wood) is possibly the worst actor of all time, basically reading memorized script. Junior high plays have better actors!
