Kyle T (es) wrote: I saw this in New Orleans - it was the only film that got in here that seemed to not have any connection to our city - which made me wonder how it got in - like it must be good. It's the first movie from my generation that I've seen that really shows how much guys truly deal with in relationships. At the same time, I think it shows that we are just as complicated as women... and how much the score is always getting evened out when you are truly in love. I think everyone should see this, it's real. Makes you think for sure but it's also got a bunch of little funny lines in it, tons of little things (moments) that big movies never have - if you pay attention you'll have fun with this one.

Austin V (es) wrote: Whereas the first movie shows glimpses of Federation totalitarianism, this one brings its corruption to the forefront. I like this theme, as well as the continued inclusion of the goofy propaganda ads.(Mild spoilers ahead...)I'm dissatisfied with the film's ending. The most disheartening aspect is that Rico and his pals continue to fight for the Federation machine, despite nearly becoming its victims a short while earlier.Interestingly, this film starts to make some positive statements about religious freedom, but then leaves off with the idea that the Federation will probably screw things up and instate a theocracy anyway.

The quilt the father must have faced his entire life and then there was Ross, getting stuck back with his parents with no options, not fun but sure mad me laugh..Enjoyed how this trip forced the mother to examine her marriage.

Van R (fr) wrote: THE LADY IN THE LAKE is based on a Raymond Chandler mystery novel and puts us in the shoes of private detective Philip Marlowe as he searches for a missing wife. What sets this thriller apart from all others and makes it an important film is that star/director Robert Montgomery filmed 90 percent of the movie from the point of view of the protagonist. In other words, we see what Marlowe sees and we only see him when he appears in front of a mirror or actually breaks the fourth wall and recaps the story. Lloyd Nolan is great as a crooked cop who runs Marlowe off the road and tries to frame him for drunken driving.

Ashley H (mx) wrote: Zelig is a fascinating film. It is a "documentary" about a man who can look and act like whoever he's around, and meets various famous people. Woody Allen and Mia Farrow give incredible performances. The script is well written that it kept me entertained. Woody Allen also did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the humor.
