The story is so unrealistic and makes zero sense....Love Tommy Lee Jones and his acting ability is the only bright spot in this total waste of time movie....they thought his name and ability would make it good but nobody could save this script.....stupid and an insult to your inteligence.

(jp) wrote: It begins rather slowly and then suddenly it grabs you by the heart and grips it tightly that you momentarily lose where you are at; then you find yourself believing all there is to doubt about.

(ag) wrote: Not entirely unfamiliar, but the relate-ability of its two protagonists carries this film. Overwhelmingly sweet, despite its overly familiar "indie" feel, this movie succeeds in spite of itself.
(mx) wrote: Definitely only "suitable" for Stargate fans, Stargate Continuum makes up for its rather weak beginning by a nice conclusion to two other movies and ten seasons featuring SG1.

(de) wrote: The movie was very good and the acting was good. The music was great but the lyrics needed work. When it was made into a musical, all the good things about the movie came with a better Tony Award winning score. This movie had a lot of heart an I really enjoyed it, but it does have room to improve. That's what it did when it became a musical.

(nl) wrote: Without a doubt the best of the Garland-Rooney MGM musicals, and their last film in which they starred together; great Gershwin score (from the Broadway musical) is a joy to hear, topped by Judy's "But Not for Me," and the Busby Berkeley-staged finale to "I Got Rhythm."
(it) wrote: Bunuel's first and only documentary is a personal and exhibitionist exploration which adds another dimension to the artist's career. It is a strange picture; while I would disagree with the theory that this is some kind of "mockumentary", it does have a strange stand-offish tone to it which seems to not only analyze the horrible living conditions of these poor people but also examines the camera as a tool of isolation- it stares, but it does nothing to help these conditions.
(gb) wrote: This film is a wonderful adventure. It may be of particular taste, but any true movie critic cannot deny the characters believability. A relieving and exciting change from the over-produced, generic films riddled with cheesy acting, Four Rooms is a unique film full of laughs, that holds the most entertaining, honest acting I have not seen in comedy to this day.

(jp) wrote: Without a doubt one of Price's best, if not THE best, it truly stands the test of time by being as genuinely funny and entertaining now as it would have been back then. Price quoting Shakespeare on the balcony is one of my favorite scenes of any horror from the 70s.
(us) wrote: Boring movie with no funny jokes. The music was bad too and the plot was basic and boring. Thank god their were recliners. I took a nice nap. Seriously this movie was rotten and I wonder who gave this the green light?
