Pandu H (fr) wrote: A story on reasons and journey, people from Central America migrated ??illegally- to the US. The film is divided in three parts, approximately 45 minutes each, starting with peaceful village life in Guatemala ruined by peasant-government conflict, the second describes long journey across borders, and the final part painful reality amidst hope in the north. Great movie that deserves more viewing in the US.

Jesse K (ca) wrote: 5/5 I decided to jump straight into the original, television version of Fanny and Alexander and found myself enjoying all 320 minutes of it. A review for a film this packed with wonder is hard to write, so let's just say that Bergman churns out another fantastic film rife with beauty, humour and humanistic grace. One thing I'd like to mention is that some of the scenes in Fanny and Alexander are downright haunting, so much so that they wouldn't feel out of place in a horror movie. But yes, I absolutely loved it.

Thomas B (au) wrote: I enjoyed this plot twisting caper film.

Brian S (ru) wrote: A movie of my childhood. I think I still have the VHS!I'd love it if they did a remake. Sadly, this is pretty obscure. (A Gwangi remake, then?)
