(kr) wrote: This is definitely not a neatly packaged film, which makes for great interpretation and analysis. What is the true role of a father, and can it even be simply defined? Add to that mental health issues, and you have a film that takes you on an interesting, and sometimes freaky, journey.
(kr) wrote: I was actually surprised that this documentary covered the issue in such a professional way. It documents the events leading up to a young man being killed by a horse sodomizing him. Yeah it is strange, but it tells the story as best it can without being biased.

(it) wrote: its simply awsome!!! it has reinforced my faith in dreaming big and achieving the dreams! above all, its about MY GAME... MY LIFE... MY CRICKET!!! juz superb!
(es) wrote: painfully tedious, repetative, and ultimately just boring. the first ten minutes show promise but simply just falls away into blandness. and i thought the music was cute, at first, but after the same musical score repeats itself over and over it just condemns itself to being fucking irritating. the perspective was interesting but zahedi's honesty and charm quickly transfrom into annoyance. bleh.
(ca) wrote: An incredibly original and grotesque look at obsessions, which leads into in being a stroke of genius. Is is definitely a movie you cannot compare to any other, and is incredibly bizarre, which is it's beauty. There's some amazing cinematography as well...
(au) wrote: Gave this a re-watch on cable for the hell of it, SUCH a great film, definitely one of my favorites, I've found that I can watch it at any time, regardless of when I happen to come in on it, I will sit and finish it out completely. If ever there was a couple that was meant to be together, it is Mickey & Mallory. I think that this one would make for a great double bill with Sid And Nancy, but which one would you watch first?Highly recommended.
(us) wrote: Not my favourite Bette Midler movie but i do still enjoy watching it!! I love the mime!!!
(jp) wrote: It's not a bad horror and Wes Craven does a decent directional job, however it is a television movie and the general standard of the production suits this.
(ca) wrote: A diametric of parallels through pronounced asymmetry. Two dreams should make bare some of its inner order:In the first one I was riding my bicycle on the sidewalk, east down Hollywood Blvd on my way to a wrestling show at a public rec center with an expected attendance of no more than 10 people. I stopped slowly near a frail figure stumbling down the same sidewalk, I recognized him as a wrestler performing in the show to which I'm attending. Excitedly and timidly I asked, "are you going to the show"? His response was slurred and addled while telling me that he defecated in his own pants. I put my hand on his shoulder in a gesture of protection, encouraged him to "hold on" as I knew for a fact that there was a bathroom at the public rec center.Second dream involved having guests over the house hanging out in the living room. While talking to the guests, I was assailed with sudden exhaustion. Just then, one of th guests hands me the copy of the film "Tron" he brought with him. With the DVD in hand, I freeze before placing it in the machine. I stop and said to myself,"Wait, am I really going to be STARTING fucking TRON RIGHT NOW!?"

(fr) wrote: Pretty good movie, just couldn't help but think it could be better. Ryan Reynolds does a great job with drama and comedy though.
(br) wrote: Streisand is all that is cruel and evil in this world. Her music is awful. Her movies are worse. She loves the sound of orgasms. Can you say weird? I can't without saying Striesand. I have smelt farts taht entertained me more than BABS ever will. Rosie O'Donnel's ever growing love for her sickens me. Vote libertarian.
(gb) wrote: To all the people that say they "Loved" this film, they must have put LSD in their popcorn, otherwise how could any self respecting intelligent person love this ball of crap-o? Everything went wrong in this film. Inconsistent, incoherent, non -sequential, poorly edited, amateur acting, sidebars without making sense (the Six Days War in Israel?), terrible wigs and makeup, horrible beyond words songwriting, endless meaningless dialogue (what's with the drunken dwarf in the bar?), ..well I could go on all night...I watched this on Netflix and was baffled from beginning to end with the nonsense it spouts. Others have remarked on the aging but it stands out as the most stupid I have ever seen on film. If you really liked this film, your intellectual expectations must be close to zero. Enough already.
