I Travel Alone

Jarle Klepp is a 25-year-old student of literature with a passion for Adorno, Proust and grown-up women - and definitely not Tamagochi's, Lady Di and small kids. The news that he is the father of a seven year old girl - and that she will come visiting next week - enters his life like a nuclear bomb. Jarle Klepp has to become an adult.

Jarle Klepp from "The Man Who Loved Yngve" is now a student on 25, loving women, indie rock and deconstruction. Then he gets a letter telling him he's a father, after a drunken one night stand with a 15 year old, 7 years ago, back in 1989. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

He returns to the reef bigger and stronger than ever. He threatens the fish of the reef that in four days he and a few of his friends will return and eat them all. Pi tries to train his friends to face Troy, but Troy sends a spy amongst them to thwart Pi's plans. Pi discovers being a leader is harder than he anticipated."I'm a lover not a dancer."Mark Dippe (Spawn, 3 Garfield movies, and The Boxcar Children) and Taedong park (Jungle Shuffle) collaborate to deliver The Reef 2. The storyline for this picture is just okay but fun to watch unfold. The characters are interesting, the animation style is solid, and the voices fit the characters perfectly."They just need to sing a happy song and everything will be alright?"I recently came across these on Netflix and added both films to my wish list to watch with my daughter. She enjoyed them from beginning to end and giggled here and there. This isn't as good as other films in the genre, but is worth a viewing if nothing else is on."I love humans. They gave me the extra eye."Grade: C

And anything without them, AND starring Mel Gibson, seemed like sacriledge. And you know what? I was right. I mean this movie is okay, it certainly is amusing, and the story about some chickens trying to get away from a chicken farm has lots of originality to it. I don't know, I guess I'm just spoiled.

jay n (es) wrote: Just awful, disconnected scenes that add up to nothing. The clips from old films are the best part of this one.

David S (de) wrote: A decent British caper movie that lacks humour but has a sterling cast that you really hope gets away with it. Lots of great British character actors and the type of 'stiff upper lip' that you can't get away with these days. The opening image of Hawkins climbing out of a drain in a tux was surely nicked for 'Goldfinger'!

David A (gb) wrote: Full of life and soul, not to mention funny; "Almost Famous" is a coming-of-age story that tells us the values of friendship and love. The characters were perfectly casted and the writing was superb and well-thought out. It's funny and relatable. We're literally stepping into the shoes of a writer as he travel across the country with a couple of rock stars. Enjoy the ride!

Jason K (ca) wrote: Within the first 10 mins you have the worst green screen tracking of a human ever seen, horrid directing of anyone onscreen, and then the most overacted sad cgi spider death that didnt need to be a cgi spider in a morgue. After that i was out- no reason to waste 1.25 hrs of my life.

Haneef A (nl) wrote: Zootopia is an excellent Disney movie. So excellent that I am so tempted to watch it a 2nd time. And surprisingly, due to its very complex and adult-themed narrative, younger children might be actually bored with it (the young children at my showing was pretty restless!!)It is directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore (both respectively directed Tangled and Wreck-It-Ralph; both are excellent Disney movies in their own right!). It stars Ginnifer Goodwin as the voice of an optimistic, energetic, lovable female bunny, Judy Hopps; and Jason Bateman as a street-smart fox named Nick Wilde. It is a buddy-cop/thriller dramedy; which is very unusual and groundbreaking for a Disney movie! It has excellent graphics and cinematography; with bright colour palettes. The movie's setting is in a world where humans never existed; and the animals evolved so much that they are now living as humans with modern tech, wearing clothes, and both predator and prey species live in harmony (supposedly). Judy is a cop bunny; the first of its kind. Looked down by other cops due to her species & gender, she became embroiled in a missing persons mystery in which a dozen mammals have gone missing without a trace. In her journey to find the culprit/villain; she seeks the help of Nick, a con-fox. Some of the animals still exhibit some animal habits; with Judy twitching his nose when in fear, which is clever aspect and interesting. This movie's plot touches on the central theme of empowerment, gender discrimination, racism, drug, friendship, and self-worth. Zootopia manage to expertly balance comedy with drama. There are many laugh-out moments in this movie which keep me in stitches; especially the Godfather & giant monster parodies; and any scenes involving slothes. Yet the plot is also mysterious (whodunit), with satisfying twists and horrifying scenes; and with a satisfying villain-reveal and finale. There was a never dull moment in this movie. I was astounded. I was thrilled. I was laughing my a** off. A must-see movie. An A+ !!

James O (de) wrote: Very strong lead performances set the film apart. The wild one goes steady and the ending is reassuringly unschmaltzy.
