Arthur R (ru) wrote: This movie is so funny it joins movies like manos and battlefield earth in the catagory of movies so bad you'll laugh your ass off.

Nolan M (mx) wrote: A so-so story, but very well made with perfect art direction.

Broly S (gb) wrote: "Black?" I hate it already.

Dale R (ag) wrote: good movie :) the kids were good actors too

John B (mx) wrote: It's a wonder that so many people enjoyed this film. I found it to be a hodgepodge of rubbish all wrapped up with a silly little soundtrack and grand claims that Douglas had given the performance of a lifestyle. Rubbish!

Daniel S (nl) wrote: Resistant though I was going into it, what can I say? It's not emotionally profound, but it's cute.

Calvin L (it) wrote: Nothing too different but i guess it proves the versatility of Stephen Chow's style, in which it can be successfully applied onto any material, and in this case, Chinese cookery

Steve T (ag) wrote: In my opinion the second best one of all. Stephon from SNL should be giving this review! This movie's got everything! Battles, Enemy Boardings, Floating Klingon blood, Exile, Wrongful Conviction, Redemption, Kirk fling with a chick - who's NOT A CHICK!!!! Spock saying "Go to Hell!" Finally: Christopher Plummer as a Shakespeare-quoting Klingon!

Kenneth S (mx) wrote: Once again, Jean-Luc Godard entreats us to a visually stunning work in 2 OR 3 THINGS I KNOW ABOUT HER. As usual, most of what is presented to the viewer in this film can be interpreted at least two different ways. On one hand, it's the story of a single day in a woman's life. She and her husband are struggling with thier choice of lifestyle, so she's taken to prostituting on the side. On the other hand, it's deeply rooted in consumerism, showing us how we all are in our daily lives. Worth watching many times to pick up on all the subtleties.

Louise B (ag) wrote: Not quite as good as other Sherlock Homes films, but still very interesting! I like it better when he is up against one or two bad guys. It is also weird to see Holmes in automobiles.

Marsya A (mx) wrote: I have no idea how this movie can have such low ratings. I thought it was smart, honest, uncontrived, romantic, lovely. If all "Rom Coms" were this good, no one would call them "Chick Flicks", because everyone would be clamoring for more

Ian C (es) wrote: Roy Scheider stars in this gritty crime thriller, as the head of a special unit of cops who throw away the rule book in order to hunt down the killers of one of their team. Tony Lo Bianco is excellent as the slimey informant, a text book car chase and some police bruatlity insures that this stands up with the best of them from the golden decade of gritty crime flicks.
