"Pray the Devil Back to Hell" es un documental relevante y poderoso.
Meredith W (gb) wrote: "Notes on a Scandal" is the story of two lonely women. Sheba (Cate Blanchet) is an art teacher, who falls into a torrid affair with a 15-year-old student. Barbara (Judi Dench) is the older history teacher who befriends her and shares her secret before revealing her own sinister streak. There is little with which to identify amongst the characters; Sheba is superficial and Barbara loneliness takes her behaviour to the extreme of socially acceptable behaviour. Watching Judi Dench embrace this villainous role is quite delicious as she oscillates between childlike infatuation and spurned loathing.

Tim M (ru) wrote: Allegedly better than the first two, directed by Lau, (the man behind the Infernal Affairs trilogy) starring Wong, Yam and Mok, should be good right? Not really. Most of the first 55 minutes is a wash, then Yam steps out of a restaurant in Amsterdam. Wong was nominated for best supporting actor, but lost to Eric Tsang in Comrades. His colorful triad character is worth watching, as is the assassination and melee finale, but other than that it's a disappointing and dated triad drama.

The children are innocence creatures; you taught them something bad resulting them to believe it's the truth without consulting the Holy Scriptures and the wise peoples.. this event even take place nowadays and the history keeps repeating itself over and over again.. May we all find peace someday~
Mike T (fr) wrote: This film doesn't have the same cohesiveness or power as Bakshi's later work, Coonskin, but it's still an impressive vision. The influence of Selby Jr. is really visible here, in the style of language and the environment. Horrifying, surreal, surprising, and wholly entertaining. I'll take Ralph Bakshi's challenging, adult animated movies over fluff like Pixar's Up any day.

He is my next Denzel, I will try to support all of his movies, no matter how bad! Anyways... the old couple kissing was cute, the artwork (paintings, photography) was interesting, the Chianese storyline was good, at least there was the sex scene with Rasuk and Graham... yes! And Bob's your uncle.
