Syl W (nl) wrote: This was pretty boring and looked amatuerish in filiming style. An interesting bathroom scene with Keanu, but the rest ugh.

MF J (it) wrote: An interesting film about a young man who was lost and drifting into petty crimes but found redemption in the most unusual place on earth : Prison. The cast is excellent and believable. The story moves forward and keeps us entertained from start till finish. It's no masterpiece but it's an honest film.

Tommy H (ca) wrote: The second half betrays its amateur director. It's a one joke movie that can't carry the whole thing, but when it's fresh it earns the comparison to a Tarantino film. The joke is the plot is incredibly absurd and abusive to the characters, and the characters have hilarious accents and slang words. It's like if A Clockwork Orange and Trainspotting got drunk and went to a strip club.

James H (nl) wrote: Of interest primarily due to seeing Brandon Lee in one of his few roles. Ther story is nothing special, nor are the fight scenes. Ernest Borgnine's presence is a plus though.

Derek M (it) wrote: David Byrne, directing and acting. Enough said.

Grant H (es) wrote: Great movie. The plot is a typical vengeance thriller, but it does have a few original ideas, the action scenes are intense and thrilling, the direction and cinematography are awesome, and the performances are good, especially Bacon and Hedlund.
