Anna B (ag) wrote: An irritating mess. Lee spends the whole movie laboriously insisting that you feel sorry for this poor tragic hero who was just minding his own business when the evil DEA came and ruined his life, and I just recoiled at every turn. The more they tried to make him likeable and cool and innocent, the less I cared about him or his plight; if he had some shades of grey, if he wasn't such a persecuted martyr, maybe I would have given a shit, but god damn, they just kept dancing away at the pity party. And that's not even mentioning Terence Blanchard's skin-crawler of a score, which just turns all the melodrama and sentimentality up to 11. I always forget how bad Blanchard's music is until I start another Lee movie, and it brings my anticipation for the movie to Earth with a thud, every time.

Dean S (br) wrote: I thought it was a great movie. Kathy Bates put in a brilliant performance, and the fight and struggle at the end was intense. This is probably Stephen King's best adaption to a movie.
Brandon M (us) wrote: Nolte does a decent job holding up the first story but the middle one just completely falls flat. Woody Allen's story in the anchor position tries to pick up the pieces but it's not his best work and overall the trilogy suffers from it.

Vuk S (mx) wrote: After watching The Odyssey, which was really good, I borrowed this movie from my friend. I couldn't bear even the first 30 minutes of the movie. I like low budget movies, I am a great fan of B-movies but this is ridiculous. The effects are so bad you feel ashamed of watching the movie at all. And not just the effects, but along with the bad acting and story the movie seems really weird in a ridiculous way. The thing that bothered me the most was when I saw the effects done with the centaur. Now it seems like I am bitching too much about the effects, it is true that they don't matter if the movie is good, but if someone is making a movie about mythical characters and beings, they should at least do a better job with the special effects, otherwise do some other type of movie. I give this movie 1 star, since I didn't actually watch it till the end.

Alan B (de) wrote: I can even be bothered writing something new for this, instead here's my facebook review:Watched 'Exit Humanity' last night. Look, there's no magic formula to making a zombie movie but this is dreadful. I think you would have to try hard to make something as bad as this. In fact it must have taken a hell of a lot of effort to do it. Weak storyline, predictable, inappropriate use of animation (had they run out of money for film at those points I wonder), annoying repetitive scenes, I could go on an on about the defects of this film but instead I'll just give it 0.5/10. Don't even get curious, just avoid.
