Alex M (gb) wrote: While ballroom dancing doesn't really interest me that much, this documentary simply brims with energy and left me very satisfied by the time its credits roled.

Ishbel K (ag) wrote: it was unbillevabilly good

John E (ag) wrote: My kids love this movie. So much better than the standard American fare for children. Plenty to keep adults amused. Delivers a few good messages without the schmaltz.

Madeline M (nl) wrote: I like pretending Sebastiane is a movie they showed the Roman army so they would learn the dangers of sexual harassment.

Steve G (gb) wrote: Good direction. Some interesting investigative observations. But the story itself is not coherent. So unbearably '60s. Torture porn. Mostly a waste of time.

One of five films Rock did the year before he broke through to the top flight of stars and left this sort of fodder behind. Piper Laurie is beautiful and her clothes amazing, the fact that she was able to move beyond this kind of cinematic junk food and become an esteemed actress is a testament to her talent.

Guido S (gb) wrote: The story of the first African American to be a Navy diver. An interesting tale about how he rose through the ranks to even get there and the wfight to survive the constant harrassment. This is very similar to The Guardian with Ashton Kutcher, but I enjoyed this one a lot more. Felt like the story moved much more fluidly and doesn't go too over the top with anything. One of Gooding's better performances, and De Niro is also very good. A very solid film
